Happy to get the grinder that Maldon made to go with their salt. It comes filled with Maldon’s salt. Because I bought a box of Maldon salt off Amazon, I was able to taste it. It’s a clean salt that is somewhat course, but can easily be pinched between your fingers to the size you want. Best tasting salt ever!

I read an article in one of my men’s magazines about this salt several years ago and it’s the only salt I’ve purchased since trying it. You can refill this bottle which is completely convenient. You can buy Maldon sea salt in several refill sizes.

There is a difference among different brands of salt and pepper! Maldon salt and pepper are amazing and they make your food taste so much better. I always season with them right before grilling or baking. Good quality and they arrived in perfect condition and on time.

I bought this back in 2019, and it worked great while it lasted. The grinder felt solid, the sea salt quality was top-tier, and the adjustable settings were a nice touch. That said, there are better deals out there now for similar grinders and salt. It’s a good product, but for the price, I’d look around before rebuying.

Do yourself a favor and don’t buy this version if you’re expecting a refillable grinder. The outside plastic wrap? Comes off nice and easy. Congratulations, you’ve completed Level 1. Then you discover there’s ANOTHER plastic sleeve shrink-wrapped around the grinder itself like it’s protecting the crown jewels. Not just wrapped—heat-sealed directly to the grinder with what I can only assume was industrial-grade adhesive, molten lava, and the hopes and dreams of the packaging engineer. I spent a ridiculous amount of time running an X-Acto knife around every possible edge trying to cut the plastic free. And yes, before anyone asks, I cut deep enough. I literally started carving into the grinder itself before the plastic even considered giving up. Then came the hand-twisting phase. Four adults. Multiple attempts. Zero movement. This thing wasn’t “child-proof.” It was “humanity-proof.” Finally, I had to dig out my grandfather’s ancient can opener/gripper contraption that probably predates electricity just to get enough leverage to remove the lid. It actually BROKE the plastic grinder in the process… which, ironically, is the only reason I can now refill it. So technically… yes… it’s refillable. If your definition of “refillable” is “after sacrificing the grinder to the packaging gods.” The salt itself? Fantastic. Five stars. The grinder? Whoever designed this deserves to be forced to open one themselves without tools while someone stands behind them yelling, “It says refillable!” I’ve opened jars that were sealed in 1997 easier than this thing. If I wanted to perform emergency surgery with an X-Acto knife and antique tools just to season my dinner, I would’ve signed up for a survival reality show instead of buying sea salt. Congratulations, Maldon. You managed to package salt so securely that Fort Knox is taking notes.

Lo cercavo da tempo, ho prodotto difficilmente reperibile nei normali supermercati ma il mio voto è pesantemente condizionato dalla scadenza di un solo anno e poco più; mi sembra un po’ troppo breve per un prodotto così di nicchia.

Perfecto para usar cristales de sal. Es recargable y tiene dos posiciones: molinillo o cristales.
