FPV UBEC Micro 5V 3A / 12V 2A UBEC Adjustable BEC UBEC 2-6S for Quadcopter RC Drone(3PCS)

Used one of these to power my Eachine Trashcan flight controller after it's onboard Bec died. Works great. Edit: Same BEC went into a wing now. Still working great! Still have a backup in the drawer for another build! Highly suggest.

First BEC, first 6s battery plug in and this thing blew. The good news is that I confirmed for all of you that it is protected. I had this in front of a DJI Air Unit, a $180.00 component. My heart stopped when I saw the “magic smoke”. But to its credit it DID NOT burn up the Air Unit. Very happy about that that’s why I gave it 5 starts even though it burned up. but now I’m leary of the other two. Hope this helps...you decide.

I used these to power the receiver of my ant weight combat robot since the speed controllers I used didn’t have BEC’s on them. These are tiny in comparison to older ones and actually gave back a good amount of space in a very cramped robot. I just had to solder leads on but they already ship ready for 5V which is nice. Good price for a multi pack of them.

DO NOT use these for 6S packs. They will burn up immediately as others have noted.

Works just fine in either 5V or 12V mode. As others have noted, this is not a step-up regulator, it will not output 12V if you provide less than 12V input. Will burn out at 24V or higher, do not use with high-voltage 6S inputs.

I use these in my twin engine 3D printed RC models . Buy two opto ESCs , Y harness together with this BEC and your good to go. Easy to solder.

The description of the product is not accurate. As someone else mentioned this is a down converter, not a boost converter. So you won't get 12V on 2S or 3S. 5V works fine, however it was useless for my needs, as I needed 12V on a 2S or 3S.
