The cut quality is excellent and even fully extended you are able to get solid cuts and maintain reasonable control of the saw. It is naturally a little flexible when fully extended but the locking mechanisms are rock solid and the weight is very manageable. I had a Fiskers pole before this one with the integrated snips and that felt like a cheap piece of junk compared to the EZ.

I've used pole saws before and this one is my favorite one. What took a hundred back and forth cut now takes 40 or less. It's that good. The pole has the least amount of flex and locks in place. The scabbard is the weakest point of this saw. It is better than nothing but I feel at some point in the future it will split apart. The handle is grippy even when your hands are sweaty. If I ever need to replace this pole saw I want the same kind. It's a great saw.

I found the price high, but decided to buy it anyway as I don't have the physical stamina to support a a heavier than 10 pound pole chain saw of that height.It IS very sharp. The blade has a hook on either end to prevent the whole thing from slipping down and injuring me. The covering case for the blade is good, has a safety feature to prevent it from falling off, yet is easy to remove. Assembly was easy. Only 2 screws needed. Actually, the nut for one of them did not screw on, and the blade is stably attached all the same. The Kamikaze blade is long, curved and extremely thin. Twice it got stuck in the cutting groove of the branch mid-job, which was rather harrowing. I did not want want to bend and ruin the blade, nor leave it hanging where it could lead to some sort of hideous accident a/or get rained on and ruined. This blade with the pole - which is good, safe, easy to extend but not so easy to make shorter again - cost approximately $250. I let it dangle for a little bit, and then was able to saw back & forth just enough to loosen it to remove it. It was not a pleasant experience. Despite the drawbacks, I am glad that I made the purchase. I am able to remove branches quite high up. The thicker ones take a fair amount of effort for me. The thin ones - up to an inch or so - it cuts through like butter.

I have several Silky saws and the blade on this one is similar to where I wonder if it's made by the same manufacturer in Japan. This pole saw is very impressive and I prefer it over my pole chainsaw. It's lighter in weight and cuts just about as fast as the chainsaw on limbs 3-inches or less. I also have almost twice the reach. I'll also mention that I had a shoulder injury about a year ago, and this saw places no stress on it. And that's another reason why I prefer it over the top-heavy weight of my pole chainsaw. It's pricey but worth it in the long run.

I hoped the oval tubing would make this more rigid than it is when fully extended, but it’s not too bad. Saw blade is super sharp—hopefully it stays that way. Pretty good for something that is half the price of the high-end square-tubing pole saws.

I own a tree service, so needless to say, I've bought several telescoping polesaws over the years.This saw is probably my favorite so far. The mechanism to extend the sections is really slick and easy to use. I like it much better than the Notch Sentei. I also like that the poles have intermittent holes, so you can choose your length and are not forced to extend the whole section length (like with the Notch Sentei).The scabbard also locks onto the blade, which is a bonus for me.

I like this pole saw. Only issue is I cannot saw into thinner branches. I need a lopper for those.First time I used this pole saw I was trying to remove oak tree branches over my roof. I neglected to properly lock the upper pole section after fully extending both sections of the pole, and the top section disengaged. 20 feet up my saw/pole was swinging in the breeze.Once I got the hang of sawing I was all over my yard cutting branches. I am 5'6 and older. I tire easily after sawing a few branches. Aside from the price I love it, and I would buy it again.

I have been shopping for a trimmer for a while. This is an excellent product. Easy to use, well made, very sharp saw, well balanced and seems to be durable. I have been using on Palm Frawns and Oak Limbs and does a great job on both.
