Works for 1993 ford ranger just tight enough to not need set screws.

Came to me with one screw not even able to tighten and another screw came lose after 1 day of use. ordering a mishimoto right now

I needed an adapter with longer threads for my (also Amazon) carbon skinned shift knob for an R53 Mini Cooper. This one did the trick but I didn't think it had enough set screws for a solid grip. With the three set screws it seems to work fine but I was able to drill and tap an additional 3 holes for 10-32 set screws. It still looks great and works like a charm. I would happily buy this again.

So, before ordering, I measured the shifter rod in my 2014 Wrangler. I used a socket wrench sockets to find the correct size. The 14mm socket went on snuggly and easily. I decided to order this 14.3mm adapter just to be sure it would go on without difficult. I was very disappointed when it arrived and would not go on. With time and effort, we drilled the hole a bit bigger so it fit.

The set screws included are really short and when I barely touch my shifter, the screws lose thread and fall out. I’m gonna go try some hardware stores to see if I can get some longer ones. Other than that, the actually adapter does fit onto my shift knob which is great, just not sturdy on there because of the screws. EDIT: since it was so loose, I was looking around at other reviews and saw someone wrapped the shifter in electric tape and then tightened the screws. I don’t know why I didn’t think of that but now it works like a charm. UPDATE: Since I put it on with tape, the tape just melted due to the hot summer so I ended up just fabricating my own size adapter in my shop. Haven’t had problems since I made that but for someone who is just looking for a straight product with no extra work, look elsewhere

took about 5 minutes to put on my mini. it would be nice if it included a little allen key that fit the screws, for convenience. i already had a set, but if i didn't, i might be a little annoyed. aside from that, it was super easy and works well on my mini cooper

Tightening screws were too small and slipped to easy could not secure it to shift rod. Do not recommend.

Showed up a week or two late, then the inner threads stripped immediately on two of the three tension screws. It still works enough to use but disappointing. The set screws are fairly loose in the threads. Definitely use thread locker.

the screws were to small to fit in the adaptor’s threads. this caused there to be no tension holding the adaptor in place. aka wiggly shift knob

Don’t waste your time. For $20 the quality is atrocious. The set screws are too small for the female threads on the adapter itself. Won’t tighten up and you can even push the screws through without even tightening whatsoever.. this one’s going back to Amazon.
