Is this good for several hours of international air travel?

They are ordinary socks, with a specialty print. Not medical, or specialty fabric enforced socks. Just comfy, printed socks.

Why are some of these hand wash and others are machine wash?

Machine wash is safe for Lavley Socks. Hand wash is fine too, if you wish to be even more gentle.

It said it would get here by the 11th now it says it won't be here until the 19th. What happened? Other items I ordered already arrived.

Sometimes items are sent separately. This has happened several times to me. Don't worry. You will get it.

Why do some pairs say hand wash and some say machine wash?

Our socks are 100% machine safe, but will certainly appreciate a good old fashioned hand wash!
