Favorite Tech pen
I’m always happy about the quality and performance of Staedtler products. I love how fine the lines come out when I use this pen. The ink flows nicely as you draw. You just have to remember to clean the nib as you use it so that you get consistent lines.

Fantastic pen
I'm a huge fan of this pen.It writes incredibly smoothly and consistently for such a fine point. When I took these pens on an airplane they did leak but that's not surprising with drastically changing pressure. Easy to take apart and clean up with tap water.

Great
My absolute favorite pen. Wish it was still being produced.

Not usable as delivered
I purchased this pen along with one of another brand at almost the same price to compare the two. Reputation alone won't help with the comparison since the Staedtler arrived with no ink and no filled cartridge, just the pen itself. Buying Staedtler ink will almost double the price. The pen itself appears to be well made, but I am very disappointed that it did not arrive ready to use. I can't vouch for its quality as is, and I certainly will not vouch for its name.

Precision pen
I saw this technical pen on Youtube channel "Peter Draws" and had to by one. I got the finest point of 0.13. The isograph pen does the finest hair lines. I was creating life like feathers with it. One thing with this kind of pens is there delicate and got to take care of them besides cleaning. It does not take much to clog the tip. It's easy to take apart and clean with water. When you done or walking away you have to put the cap back on or the ink can clog but usually a damp rag will work by wiping the tip. Got to use Staedler inc for the Mar Matic pens. Last thing about this pen is if your going to use it often, buy an extra. I did and it was a good idea, because I was trying to scratch something around my eye and the pen slipped out landing head first on the drafting board. The pen would not work after that.

Best of the best !
Staedtler technical pens are one of the best pens you can buy. I have used them for decades. They are fine drawing instruments that need to be handled with care. Cleaning the nib after using it will save you time and money. I highly recommend Staedtler pens for drafting and drawing .

Baja calidad
Me dio la impresión que STAEDTLER bajó mucho la calidad del producto pero el precio se mantuvo.

Pen collectors- pass this one by
I enjoy collecting writing instruments. I have fountain pens, gel pens, felt tipped pens, pencils etc. I learned about this pen while reading a review for another item on Amazon. I was expecting something along the lines of a very fine point refillable Flair. What I got was a plastic cased, metal pointed "technical " pen that has yet to write at all. it does not come with any ink, and is not usable as received. Apparently those "in the know" about these things are aware that you need to order ink separately. I am used to buying a new pen and expecting it to arrive ready to write. Perhaps it is my fault for not really understanding what I was buying, or perhaps there is room for a better description of the item. If you are a pen collector who wants to add to your collection, pass this one by. It is for architects, designers etc that have a better understanding than I had of what this thing is (and is not).
