Tastes great not bitter at all
I have tried many different coffee brands and roasts. This coffee is the best my go to for every cup. Brewed or exspresso machine for cappuccinos, lattes and other drinks. Highly recommend this brand .

Bright! Boring (for me!)
It’s bright medium roast coffee with a flavor profile that I personally find boring but they’re beautifully roasted beans and high quality. Just not the coffee profile I want but I am glad to have tried it.

tasty and smooth coffee
I love Verve coffee. It has a little sweet taste and very smooth. My husband has been drinking this coffee for a few years; among all of the coffee beans he has tasted, he loves this brand the most.

Is this really Verve Coffee????
We get Verve Coffee all the time ordered directly from Verve. It’s very freshly roasted just before it’s sent. Thought we would save some money through an Amazon subscription. Coffee arrived with a roast date from 2 months ago and really tasted terrible. I question if it was even verve coffe or other beans thrown in a Verve bag. Never again - we will stick with getting it direct.

Excellent flavor
Purchased many times and it always has a super smooth flavor. Many others taste burnt but I’ve never had that issue with the sermon roast.

I was able to buy this coffee bean from Amazon for the price I paid Verve 5 years ago.

Wasn’t as fresh as I’d hoped.
I was reticent about ordering fresh coffee from Amazon because I picture it sitting on a shelf somewhere for months before getting shipped. I ordered this one and I’m not sure if that was true but it seemed very dry when I got it. No oil on the beans at all. I could never get espresso to taste anything but extremely sour from this coffee. Might be better as drip or French press. Not a great espresso roast in my opinion.
