I love this product. I wish I'd purchased it years ago. I don't know why I avoided it for so long. A few days ago, I bought a new jug of cat litter and a box of this deodorizer. I emptied all the old litter out, scrubbed and sanitized the litter box, and then followed the instructions on the box: baking soda on the bottom, pour in litter, baking soda on top, stir in. Easy. After a couple days, the litter box smelled a little even after scooping (every day). I poured some more baking soda in, stirred, smell gone. I do regular touchups to the litter box (pulling off the lid, wiping down the urine sprays, pushing the litter aside in the box, wiping down anything that gets crusted to the side) between full wash-downs and full litter replacements, but they don't completely remove the smell. The baking soda does. I stuck my whole head into my cat's litter box cabinet and there was NO odor except the pleasant perfume of this baking soda. My only gripe is that it doesn't "last" for days and days. I have had to sprinkle in some nearly every day after my cat uses the litter box and I scoop. But the smell is instantly gone once I do put it in. Maybe I'm not using enough? I don't know. Regardless, if you have a stinky litter box, this solves the problem right away. Just make sure you're scooping at least once a day and regularly maintaining the box (changing out the litter often, cleaning it, maintenance).

It smells great it works

This product is essential to minimize the odor in my home with 3 cats and 2 litter boxes. I use Worlds Best Cat Litter and use A&H as directed and have no issues. There are many reasons why I love WBCL but I can't stand their scent options so the unscented is the only way to go but it still has a smell on it's own, they just don't add a scent to it. This is where the A&H Cat Litter Deodorizer comes in. I love the clean scent of it and I didn't see any reaction from my cats after it was added. So, kudos all around for A&H. I would have given the product 5 stars BUT I have now ordered this item 3 at a time and got same day delivery however, both times one of the boxes was damaged (SEE PHOTO). Luckily the contents stayed in but it got dented badly at the pour spout which is inconvenient. One time was not a big deal but twice looks like a trend so I wanted to share. I'm sure I could return it but I shouldn't have to

I love the product! It keeps the litter box fresh all the time. That said, I am diligent about cleaning it every single day. Right after I scoop, I sprinkle some of this on top of the litter and rake it around with the scooper. I have one small cat so if you have more or large cats, then use common sense and scoop it out more frequently and use more of this product. I feel like this doesn't mask the odors but actually eliminates it. I have been using this since she was a kitten and she's never had an "accident". It has a nice fresh scent . No one knows where the litter box is unless I tell them. My only complaint is that the product is not wrapped in plastic and then it's put in a larger box for shipment. It has leaked every single time I have ordered it. It's not a lot, about 1/8 cup, but is is wasted and it makes a mess when the larger box is opened. It's a simple fix that the distibutor really needs to take not of because it's annoying.

Ok, it’s only been like 20 minutes and I’m already really happy with this stuff. Our cat used to get tons of clumps of kitty litter on her feet that would then end up in our bed, the carpet, all over the house. Yuck. So we switched to general pet bedding pellets. If you are not familiar, they are these pellets made of wood/wood shavings, they are bigger so they don’t get stuck to her feet but they absorb well and still gives kitty the satisfaction of burying her poo without the mess. But I HATE the smell of it. It’s just this hamster cage wood shaving smell with twinges of urine that I swear I can smell throughout the whole house. I just sprinkled a little bit of this Arm & Hammer stuff in there and I’m already so satisfied with the odor. Yes it has fragrance (kind of like laundry detergent or dryer sheets with a fresh scent), but I also feel like it neutralizes the woody hamster-y smell of the pellets so I don’t walk in my door and feel like my house smells like guinea pigs. Yay. And was so cheap! And I put a super light layer in there so I think this box will last a long time. Love it.

My husband wanted a cat and I was not thrilled about the idea of a litter box. I quickly had my concerns validated with how bad they can smell!! I was skeptical about this product but needed to try something and this was inexpensive so I thought why not. Using on my cat’s Crystal litter in the Scoop Free litter box and I’m pretty amazed. The litter box company boasts that w/ 1 cat households the Crystal litter boxes should last around 30 days but we were only able to use around 14-15 due to smell and that stuff was expensive! Now with this litter deodorizer we are able to push our full litter changes to be every 21-30 days and the smell is gone. It seems too good to be true but I will definitely keep purchasing. I am just sprinkling over the Crystal litter each week and so far so good! This is going to save me a lot of money (from frequent Crystal litter changes) and I’m so happy the litter smell is gone!

I love love love this stuff. It really does deodorize, and it does it well. At one point I had a cat with renal failure (they pee a lot), two kittens, and two other adult cats (5 cats in total) and people would be shocked when I told them how many I had because my house always smelled so nice. Before I purchased my litter robots I would put this on the litter after cleaning it and it would help eliminate smells. It did make one of my cats sneezy so I would mix it into the litter rather than having it sit on top. This would reduce the effect somewhat, but still work. Now I have my litter robots and only need to take the litter out once a week, I will sprinkle this deodorizer into the catch bin rather than on the litter itself if I start to smell anything and it eliminates the smell. It does have a smell, kind of like very strong laundry detergent. I am using this product with World's Best cat litter and it works great. I have never used clay litter but I'm sure it would have similar results on any litter.

Das Produkt riecht/duftet sehr stark - sehr positiv im Anbetracht seines Zwecks. Ich würde mir wünschen, dass der Frischeeffekt etwas länger anhält, nichtsdestotrotz tut was es soll, den Streutausch etwas rauszögern und beim einen oder anderen Katzeneinsatz die Lage auffrischen. Würde es weiterempfehlen!

Used so many deoderizer but so far this is the best of the best. It's leave the cat, litter n even the house smelling fresh. Very happy with my purchase
