I would say this pill is the size of a baby aspirin, albeit a little thicker. It is very easy to swallow. This supplement is medically necessary for me to take because of other medications I must take. It is a reliable, economical way to get the supplemental coverage I need. The methyl folate is the more active part of folic acid. That's the scientific explanation. It's up to you to interpret a scientific paper since it will be hard to tell the difference just from taking it. It is more expensive than folic acid which is usually dosed at a higher level. Perhaps the end result is the same amount of absorption or not. But then either one of the is affordable.

Excellent product for a smooth ride on productivity although i took a second dose at the 8 hour mark as I dont sit down for work and family committments and have move toward the higher dose for this product line
