No more mice!
This is the only thing I will buy to kill mice and works better than anything I have tried. They absolutely love this. Now I have not seen any mice in the house or on the back porch and isn't messy. They give you a good amount of bait for the money. Have purchased this a few times.

Mice eat it .only one downfall mice are dead but most have died under house smell is terrible. But there dead after a week of putting it out. So much better than tomcat. Just put new out every 2 to 3 days. Another downfall is wife puts a bucket over dead mice found on floor she's to scared to throw them in a plastic bag

Killed the rats that were shy or the other traps couldn't catch
Killed the rats that were shy or the other traps couldn't catch. Always a guess when buying as some people say it works and some say it doesn't work, but it worked for us. This poison did not seem to make them ooze. Saw a couple come out as they were dying and they could hardly move. Stringed the poison bars on wire in boxes while trying to make them dog proof, but probably better to get the bait stations. Definitely feels dangerous with nosey dogs around.

I don't think this will do the job.
I live in an apartment style condo. The complex is in decline due to people not paying their dues. A recent kitchen fire in one of the units in my building smoked up the building. Someone propped open the exterior doors and now there are rats. I saw one in my living room. It darted into the kitchen when it saw me. There was no sign that it got into anything. I put in an order for poison at that time. I didn’t see any sign of it/them for a few days. Then they nibbled a little on a bag of trash. Surprisingly not a huge mess, no sign any food was found or taken. The first block of bait I put out was broken into 3 pieces. 2 in my kitchen, the 3rd where the trash bag was. The first night, nothing. I added bacon grease. There was a daytime visit with a little nibble and one of the baits was moved from its plate. That night that piece disappeared. At that time I thought it was consumed and was extremely hopeful. The remainder of that block was broken up a little more and redistributed. They started dragging the smaller pieces off. 1 piece they struggled to get through the hole, this clued me in as to their point of entry and egress, and to the fact that they were removing the bait not consuming in place. I see now from other reviews you need to take steps to prevent them from doing this. Food they haul off is stored, and in this environment they will never touch their stores. I put out additional blocks too big to be carried away. They haven’t touched those. The good news is traps are on the way if nothing else this and a little bacon grease are a good bait combo for the traps. I was initially reluctant to use traps because the more well known traps can be dangerous. I don’t want broken fingers from a mishap setting or placing the trap, or broken toes from forgetting where the traps are and stumbling around in the dark. I found traps that protect from those problems so they should be here soon. I don’t know if this product would work in environments where there are few food choices and fewer easy choices. I think the rats here are exploring their new environment. I have been fortunate that they have done very little damage, and haven’t gotten into any food stores in my condo. They haven’t tried very hard. I know that there is very little that can keep a hungry and determined rat from getting into your food stores regardless of what measures you take. I think the rats see these blocks as good food to add to their stores but they don’t like them enough to eat when they have plenty of easy options elsewhere in the building, and at the dumpsters outside. I am giving a neutral review because I acknowledge not enough time has passed to know for sure if this will solve the problem. However, the rats' behavior suggests that they will not eat this in place so it therefore will not work as a final solution in my situation. Edit1: After a time they started nibbling a little, no serious eating. I covered one block with a box thinking they might feel more comfortable eating from concealment. That seems to solve the problem as far as them eating it. The last 2 nights they have eaten quite a bit with them eating far more last night than the night before. Time will tell if this actually kills them off. If they haven’t eaten enough to die yet one more feeding should do it, assuming 3 good feedings will do it. Review remains neutral for now. Edit2: I will leave this neutral. I still don't think this would solve the problem. Seeing the CDC report on Covid19 rodent activity has caused me to take another look at the timeline. My state’s shelter in place order started a week before I ordered the bait, so these are probably Covid19 restaurant refugees. There is a restaurant nearby. I haven’t seen or smelled any signs that any rats died of poisoning. I have caught 3 in traps. No bait has been taken since the first rat was caught and those caught were spaced out over several days. I Haven’t seen signs of activity for over a week. I hope they were refugees and that they won’t be back.

Works!
This product works as described and quickly. I had an infestation and was losing my mind. This product was recommended to me as a last step before calling in an exterminator. I placed chunks around my house, inside and out. Within a day and a half, mice were dead. The smell is undetectable by humans, but mice seem to love it. The product is durable outside and safe for handling by humans. The peace of mind I received after the mice were eradicated made this product an excellent value for the money!!
