Tried these in Amsterdam. The Restaurant gave you a small glass of these with your cheque at dinner, I asked the bartender if I could grab a handful on the way out and I have savored these for 9 months before buying them on Amazon. They are hard and sweet put you can taste the tartness that lives inside through I believe a small purposely placed hole, this tempts you to crush the harmless little candy get into tart middle. Eating the whole bag is very easy. The lemon and lime (green) are incredible for my palette, Pineapple is very lovely, they are all great. I am a sour junkie. I keep a jar of citric acid in the pantry to bump things up when they need bumping! These are not over the top but just tart enough you can do the bag and not die from the burn if you lose control. Sugar FIRST ingredient followed by glucose, which is becoming more prevalent in European sweets to keep cost down and more stable than pure sugar (*I believe). These sat in a big bowl on the bar for who knows how long before I smuggled them home lol and kept them in a baggie in my cold storage room for 9 months before I devoured all of them, The hard shell had that lovely this is older candy crush taste but that did not stop me from showing them no mercy in devouring them in a munchie attack. *More and more of my chocolate candy recipes are using this mixture of sugar and glucose in the fillings for stability and cost. Packaging was a plastic amazon bag, during Semi high heat 92 f and 100% Incredible Humidity in Florida no issues. I normally would not order candy or food during thelate summer but these had next day delivery so I figured these are locally popular and would be safe from utter heat destruction.

Had these little tasty treats while traveling through Amsterdam. Now they are a standard at home in the US!

I first discovered these Napoleon fruit sours when I was in Amsterdam and absolutely loved them, so I was thrilled to find them available on Amazon. They taste exactly as I remember—tart, fruity, and with that perfect hard candy crunch. Each flavor has a great balance of sweet and sour, and they’re super addictive. The 3-pack is a good value and makes it easy to keep a bag on hand (though they disappear quickly in my house!). If you’ve ever tried these in Holland or just love high-quality sour candies, you won’t be disappointed.

I was on a trip to Michigan, picked these up in a little market. They were sour candies but not so tart that your jaw hurts. There is a great surprise in the center. My daughter lived them so I bought some for her brother and he loved them. I will be ordering more for gifts.

It’s been awhile since I had these candies; but I remember that I enjoyed them.
