I was looking at a good number of these different Vbars to purchase. I decided on getting this one purely for its rubber grips, this was probably the best decision I've made. I know it costs a bit more as comparison to fully metal or plastic Vbars but it's honestly worth it. I've got a friend that has to use a towel while he uses his Vbar because the plastic digs into his arms. Getting one with rubber grips was a fat better choice and it's honestly great quality. It weighs a fair bit too and doesn't feel cheap whatsoever. The seams on the rubber are very minimal and I know this product is going to last me more than a decade. If Ur thinking about buying this, just do it. I was contemplating buying it for a few months but I wish I had bought it sooner. 100/10 couldn't have asked for better.

Poor quality, the welds are not straight, and one corner is really sharp — you could easily cut yourself on it.

Only just received it but pleased with it so far. The bar is solid metal, not a tube. Feels like an iron bar, like it should. There's a little bit of play on the rotating central loop attachment but once greased, it feels OK. I brushed the rubbing surfaces with grease before trying it out and it feels fine. Hangs perfectly balanced from the cable rotates smoothly even though the one I bought wasn't advertised as being the rotating one. I'd say it's a bargain for £25. I needed it for doing close grip lat pulldown for Mike Metzner style bicep training. The knurling is fine. Not too aggressive but good grip. The chrome feels like part of the bar, not like something that's eager to flake off. I don't think I'd ever need to replace this even if I won the Euromillions. 20 inches long so really a perfect length. If you need one of these, look no further...unless you like rubber grip stuff, which I really dislike. Each to their own.
