HGAC 1/144 Wing Gundam Plastic Model

It was a great version of the Wing Gundam.

Just note that there are two other versions of this kit, the entry grade that just came out a few months ago and the real grade that came out in 2021. Articulation and poses are grade on this kit. I recommend this and the other two kits if you want those instead.

This is a nice hg I painted mine, highly recommended but be careful will the small parts on the arms, they are fragile.

As usual with gunpla, this is a press-fit kit. You don't need glue to build it. And it comes with a few stickers for the bits that genuinely need additional color. So you can build this thing right out of the box with nothing more than a pair of nippers. But I wouldn't recommend it. At the very least you probably want to glue the v-fin in place. It doesn't attach very tightly on its own, and it's a tiny piece - if it falls off you're very likely to lose it. I'd also strongly recommend doing some panel-lining. I cannot overstate how much just some basic panel-lining makes the whole thing pop. Beyond that... It's your standard Bandai quality. Very nice plastic in a few different colors and finishes. This is one of the High Grade After Colony kits, so there's polycaps for the joints. The instructions are very easy to follow even though they're not in English. The whole build is very satisfying. But the end product is a little bit on the fragile side. This model has a transformation, which means some of the joints have a little extra wiggle-room to facilitate the transformation. This makes them a little loose and fragile. I had issues with joints popping out of place when trying to pose the thing. You might want to take a little extra time and effort to tighten-up some of the joints. As for the transformation... It's not very impressive, but that's not really a problem with the kit. "Bird Mode" was never a great transformation. Even in the show it just looks like the robot is wearing its shield for a hat.

Instructions and pieces were present. Kept seeing a stand in instructions and on box, but didn’t come with kit.
