This came with 2 replacement JDS-030s and 2 ribbon cables. What came was 2 ribbon cables (longer than the original) and one big double JDS-030. First, you need to snap apart the 2 JDS-030s with you fingers. Second, there is a very good YouTube video wherein a young man installs this part. Third, the JDS-030 does not look exactly like the original. There is a tiny white “thing” which contains the blue/yellow LEDs which is significantly smaller than the one on the original. Fourth, be careful and make sure that you put the ribbon cable ends all the way and gently close snap on the end located on the JDS-030. The other end of the ribbon cable just pushes in, no snap closure. Fifth, the new cable is longer. No big deal, it works and is actually easier to install. After this, put the controller back together and then don’t do what I did. I put the screws back in, tested the controller, and got nothing. What I did was put a screw through the ribbon cable. Good thing this came with 2 ribbon cables. After doing the above, again, I looked through screw hole to see if I could see white. No white in the hole is good. Before putting the screws back in, I would test it. If it is still dead, try the other new JDS-030. Worth a try. Lastly, despite having that much smaller LED “thing”, if it is fixed you should get a nice yellow light. Anyway, this was my thoughts on this item.

I purchased this item to replace the worn usb port on my PS4 controller.This is an easy repair, basically just swap the part.HOWEVER, upon replacement, and plugging the repaired controller into my PS4, the part burnt out!In the process it also fried my controller!A $9 replacement product totally fried my $60 PS4 controller!And now my house smells of burnt plastic... thanks. Not.BUY ANOTHER BRAND!

USB connection now functions however the LEDs only have partial functionality

Good replacement, make sure you get the exact one though because they all are not the same

Easy to install with a little YouTube video help if you don't know what you're doing. Works great fixed both my PS4 controllers after doing a battery swaps and breaking the cables

Controller recently broke after purchasing this item with the correct battery, my device is in working working order, the light (towards the top of the controller, near where the USB female sits) went out shortly before the controller died out completely.This didn't solve that issue (not major for me)Otherwise very satisfied with the results. Would recommend.
