Works great
Was concerned based on other reviews of the products but then I remembered people expect way too much nowadays. Product works just like it should, fans spin and move the air, not blow like some think. Even on a mostly cloudy day with rain drops, these fans still spun on solar only. They are small but move a good amount of air. Added bonus is they come with battery cables and a 12V adapter to run fans without solar power. Ordering 4 more for my solar kiln to move hot air out. Easy to use as well, just plug in and mount solar panel. For the price it's a great product.

Works great during the day
Because it’s solar I thought it would soak up the sun and work through the night for my chickens but it only works when there is sun. It does work great during the day when there is sun but the chickens are outside then

great for small polycarbonite greenhouse
bought one for south wall in 2019 before greenhouse was built. bought second 2022 to face west. Handle with care, wire to fan delicate and blades are exposed. Can feed through spaces easily, so easy to relocate. Panel worked both propped on shelf and hung against polycarb. Worked even with additional layer of clear 2 ml plastic lining the gh. for winter. Panel needs full exposure, but with full exposure works even with some overcast sky. They do a nice job of moving air around seedlings, and enough movement for me to feel it when working in the gh. Maybe add small power bank to even out the power flow.

Piece of junk will
I bought this to give a little air circulation to a greenhouse. It does not have a battery so it only runs when the sun is shining. I knew this when I bought it. On a sunny day the fan was spinning very fast and I put my hand in front of the fan about 2 feet away from the blades. I could not even feel any breeze. It does not have an on and off switch and has to be disconnected when you do not want it to run. On cloudy days there is not enough sunshine to run the fan at all. It does make a very high-pitched, very annoying sound to the ears on cloudy days when it will not run. It has to be disconnected to get rid of the sound. Do not waste your money.

Worth the money
I stream my granddaughters’ softball games to Facebook and YouTube and find that in direct sun and the hot summer heat here in Florida, my iPhone cameras overheat and shut down. To solve this problem, I purchased this solar fan and a wire basket and assembled it as shown in the photos. The fan keeps the camera cool and the basket keeps it shaded from sun and also rain. I found that after about 18 months, the fan gradually stopped working, so I bought another fan and solar panel to replace it. I discovered that the problem was not with the fan, but with the solar panel, which I guess has a lifespan of no more than 18-24 months. Solar panels do have a lifespan, I read, and this one isn’t as long as one would like, nor expect. Still, for the 18 months this was working, it was well worth the price, I think. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the short lifespan.

Small but works
So the product is very small and you will need multiples to move air however it is as described. As soon as the sun touches the panel the fan starts working but alone it doesn't make a difference in temperature. I did not plug it in until I had it set up to avoid cutting myself. For the size I think its a little pricey maybe two for this price is my suggestion. I would not order again.

Good product, mounting a bit tricky.
I'm using this for a vent fan for my shed. I got it because I didn't want to have to run power out to the shed. I can definitely feel the difference from before to now, the shed has good airflow and feels considerably cooler. The shed is 8 foot by 10 foot, the fan would be able to vent a larger space, but not too much larger. The mounting of the solar panel was not as easy as it should have been. For some reason, the solar panel has only three mounting holes, two in the corners and one in the middle of the opposite side. This made the original mounting kind of unstable as it was only being held on by one bolt. I ended up drilling two new holes in the plastic to provide a better mounting.

Not a lot of blowing power
Not much blowing power, does not always start up, you need to spin it to go, finally dropped some lubricant and works better but not a lot of blowing power

I really like this product, I actually ended up purchasing a second one. I used it with my students for a STEM project, but I will be using it to charge my devices, power some cute lights, or even create some air movement by powering the little fan it came with.

The fan itself is good quality, as are the accessories. The panel itself is also decent. However, there's a reason they give you the accessories for powering it from a 12V car lighter socket or the terminals on a deep-cycle battery - the panel is WAY under powered for the draw of the fan. It can spin the fan fine if the panel is in full-on sun. However, if the panel isn't aligned directly with the sun or it gets a bit overcast, the panel can't even get the fan to start spinning, the motor just twitches. So unless you can give the panel full sun and can also stay nearby to keep adjusting the panel to keep it perfectly aligned, it's not going to spin the fan for very long as the sun moves across the sky. And if it's remotely cloudy, no fan either. Disappointing, this fan requires a much bigger panel to be of practical use.

Built decently well. I used it for my outdoor chicken coop to give some extra ventilation during the day. My back yards in partial shade for most of the day however other solar fans I have purchase still functions in less than optimal conditions. It's winter and many overcast days, looking forward to seeing it work in summer. But for the price, its functions well enough and appears to be made for outdoor use.

It might work if it was electric, but the solar one does not have any power, waste of money.
