can the filters be reused?

Unless you’re going to solder 24/7 for several years you will have no need to worry about replacing these. They will outlast all of us. You could put them in a dishwasher, but you’re simply never going to clog them.

Can you strain ethanol through these filters to remove solids

I don’t see how solids could form in these. They should last forever.
