Callaway Golf HEX Soft Golf Balls (12 and 24 Ball Pack)

Good golf balls for the money. Let’s face it we don’t want to be playing golf with our friends using lake or range balls. If like myself you can have the odd (sometimes many) rounds of golf where we say goodbye to more golf balls than we would like, these are a great option for you. They don’t break the bank and they do feel good off the face. I can’t comment on spin rates, and if you’re concerned about that, you will probably buy some Pro V1s anyway. They seem fairly durable, I have had miracle rounds where I have kept the same ball the entire time and they fair up well. If your new to golf or still finding your way with the beautiful game, these balls are good option to have in the bag.

Grabbed these Callaway HEX Soft balls while they were on sale and honestly, can’t complain at all. They feel nice and soft off the club, especially with irons and around the greens – not too hard, not too mushy. Off the tee they go a decent distance and seem to fly pretty straight most of the time (which definitely helps!). Around the green you get a fair bit of control as well. They’re not going to spin like the really expensive tour balls, but for the price they do the job more than well enough. They’ve held up pretty well too – don’t mark up too easily, which is always a bonus. Overall: If you’re after a solid, reliable golf ball without spending a fortune, especially when they’re on offer, these are well worth picking up.

In my group this is now being called the unloseable, the hazard dodger, these balls are allergic to bunkers, the only ball you’ll ever need, may aswell buy 12 and leave 11 at home.

These are like rubber balls. They're the worst balls I have ever experience. And I bought 2 dozens! What a waste of money.

I went out golfing on a slow day for the course with the intention of trying 3 different balls to see which I liked the most. It was a budget line-up; Wilson Boost, Snyder Acer (a 3 piece ball), and Callaway Hex soft. I am a 10 handicap and have an average driver speed of 94 MPH. The Hex Soft continually out drove the other 2 with good forgiveness. With the irons, it launched higher and landed softer. Approach shots into the green yielded good results with solid spin and stopping power for me and my swing, and stopped quicker than the other 2. The Hex Soft rolled constantly smooth on the greens. It is definitely my go to golf ball for now. No more paying a premium for golf balls when this one suited my perfectly.
