Splat Dusty Rose Hair Chalk, 1 Compact, Vegan & Cruelty Free

Something fun to add to your hair, a streak here or there. This is not just for the young crowd! Nothing permanent so no worries there. I have dark brown and a lot of gray but it showed well on both colors. I at first didn’t read the directions, so I suggest those who purchase do. First I just sponged it on and heavily and it worked well so I can’t complain there and have yet to put it on as suggested. I’ve also tried it out on my wigs which are real hair, and application was fine, easier since you’re able to strategically place the streaks and rotate the wig. As with my hair, I pretty much had the color placed around the front, too hard for me to do the back and I have really short hair. I liked this one so much, I ordered another color and will probably go back and purchase one more, blue?

I wish I had bought more colors but I do like this product and find it to be fun!! It's not super easy to apply but that is more about practice than product...you just have to hold it a certain way and I have only used it a few times. When I buy more, it will likely be a package that has multiple colors. I do like this shade of pink quite a bit though...it's bright and cheerful but not neon.

It definitely looks nothing like the color in the picture. I wouldn't call this a Dusty Rose, but a hot pink. It goes on nicely and it is pretty pigmented. I have light pink hair and had some spots up at the root that are just a platinum blonde now, where the color faded out, so I used this. After seeing how dark this was, I just did all of my roots to give it an ombre look. I was impressed with how long it stayed in. I wash my hair every 3 days and it still looked pretty decent on the 3rd day, just wish it were more of this dusty pink color it shows.

I needed a faded pink look for my Halloween costume, and the color was perfect. Application was easy, and it washed out completely in one wash. The only downside was a lot of the color from the ends of my hair rubbed off onto my clothes and stained them. But I guess the rub-off should be expected from chalk. I also had to re-apply throughout the night. But otherwise, I only needed it for a one-time use and it delivered!

This hair chalk works well and looks great. My daughter tried other hair chalks and even purple wigs and this Splat Hair Chalk was the winner. I would buy it again. The color is very flattering. I just tried it myself now too. I just rubbed a front small hair section of hair around my face in the case and used my thumb on the back of my hair to press into the chalk in the case and that worked well.

I have medium brown hair with blonde highlights. I love this chalk and use it for a few pink streaks. It shows up well, and depending on how much you use, you can make it light pink or very bright hot pink. I get compliments on my pink highlights all the time. Once from a hairdresser who thought it was a professional dye job. I don't find it very messy. Yes, it's a chalk, so I apply it over a sink and hold the hair away from my face, and some powder spills into the sink (just like any powder makeup), but I don't notice it transferring onto things from my hair. I do also use hairspray before applying it and after applying it, as I think the directions suggest, so that may help. I've noticed the dark blue color of this brand of chalk seems messier. I wonder if it's the color or the specific container that makes a difference. Maybe some containers that are exposed to more or less humidity are messier. I'm not sure. The many times I've bought pink, it has never seemed very messy to me. But if you're interested in trying hair chalk, go for it. And this is the brand I like best so far.

Wouldn't stay in my hair at all, just dyed my sink pink.

As messy as everyone said it would be, so I was prepared for that. Definitely use with hair spray. Looked amazing, but the compact is very small and my hair is very long so it only covered like 1/4 of my head (and my hands and my sink), which was kinda what I was going for but if you want more coverage you might want to just buy some pastels and do it yourself.

This product is easy to apply and you can control the amount of colour from a light dusting to a full pink (I have blonde hair so didn't want it to be too strong). Not too messy to apply and stays in without marking clothes and pillow cases

Ich habe es mir effektiver vorgestellt. Ja die Haare sind leicht rosa, aber irgendwie ist die Konsistenz nicht so, wie ich es erwartet habe. Fast ein bisschen zuuu trocken.

it's a nice product, I love it so much I want to order all the colours available, I wish yellow was a colour but alas it is not, but very happy with what I have !!
