Handy OBD Tool for BMW Owners, Worth It Despite the Price
I bought this Veepeak OBDCheck BLE mainly for my BMW 2 Series, and itโs been a great experience so far. The setup was quick and hassle-free, it connected instantly via Bluetooth, and I was able to code and check diagnostics smoothly using the Bimmer app. The connection stays stable, which is crucial when working with car electronics. The build quality feels solid, and I appreciate that it comes in a sturdy plastic box, which keeps it safe when not in use. The device itself is small, lightweight, and easy to carry around, so itโs perfect to keep in the glove box. Speed is fine it takes 2-3 minutes to code when plugged and read the data efficiently. It is compatible with my BMW 2 Series Active Tourer. The only downside for me is the price, it feels a bit on the expensive side for such a compact tool. But considering how well it works and how reliable the connection has been, I think itโs worth it if you want peace of mind when diagnosing or coding your BMW. Would I recommend it? Yes, especially if you want a reliable OBD scanner that just works without fuss.

Works well with astra j 2.0 cdti
I use this handy device with the Scanmyopel CAN app. It costs 3 quid per month but works great to see live data and erase codes. I couldn't get the test operations to work but the code reading and live data is what I needed it for anyway so worked as I needed. It's great as I've been having the SVS warning with a high fuel pressure warning. The device and app allows you to see data such as fuel pressure in real time and pin point faulty conditions. The device comes in a protective case. And feels well made. Very good value for price. I also want to note that one garage couldn't even pick up a code that this device, with the app, picked up on.

Worked fine
Worked well with whichever app it was I downloaded (one of the recommended ones for iOS) Was able to interrogate the EMS and clear the warning I had got. Warning never came back (mechanic at my local garage had said it was probably an anomalous reading and was unlikely to re-occur) Will admit that as I'm not a mechanic, or car enthusiast, it was capable of providing way more information than I could deal with, so had to google some of the output, but that's on me, not the unit. The unit worked fine.

Saved me some money of garage diagnostics
This is a great ODB II dongle that connects well with my Android phone using the bimmer-tool app (I use this in a BMW) but other apps are available that cover different brands of cars. Some free and some paid. The dongle connects easily to the car and the phone. Using the bimmer-tool app (sold separately) I was able to read and clear error codes, watch live data from the cars components and compare actual vs expected values on things like Air Mass, Throttle position, Turbo actuation etc as well as schedule a DPF regeneration All this functionality does come from the app and not the dongle itself but the dongle connects easily and maintains a stable connection even whilst driving when I took the car for a drive and left the unattended app collecting live data. It is important to maintain a stable connection because an unstable connection can cause problems if you lose signal during an operation i.e. clearing codes or coding an option to the ECU This has already saved me some money in diagnostic fees given that many garages charge between ยฃ50-80 for a scan

This product just saved me 20 000$. This is quite literally the best purchase I've made.
Summary: This little thing just diagnosed a valve issue the dealer missed and even the VANOS system of my new Mini missed. It comes with a storage case, feels well made, easy to connect and will work with very well with BMW group, VW group and Toyota cars as I have used it with those products. Story: Got a mini countryman a few days ago, and whilst it's been a great daily driver, and the test drive made me love the car's handling and speed, their reputation for how unreliable they can be is something i've always been aware of. Fast forward to 3 weeks into the ownership: I start to notice the exhaust tips become black due to soot buildup. Then I start to question why I have been refiling the tank so much despite my aggressive driving. Anyways, I buy this product and start looking at the error codes and checking common issues with those codes on mini forums. Seems like fuel's mixture is too rich and the engine cannot correct itself. So before heading to the dealer, I use the Bluetooth scanner to export all the proof I have in case I need to get the insurance company involved. One trip to the dealer later, I ask for an inspection, I paid for an extended warranty on the car. They tell me that if I ask for an inspection and they find nothing, the costs are on me. Not a problem, this product had me knowing something was wrong. After the inspection, the mechanic tells me it's an air intake valve that needs to be replaced due to carbon buildup. Total costs of 2700 plus tax which the dealer of course tries to split with me. Conclusion: This little gadget allowed me to return that 20k car before my return period was over and even made it possible to export proof of the issues of my mini to my computer, which allowed me to get all my cash back and avoid owning a lemon.
