Is this rectifier only use if lawn mower is tripping breaker?I have 12Amp greenworks mower,it wont start BUt not tripping breaker,is my rectifier bad?

Our mower was tripping the breaker. By replacing the rectifier it started no problem so I am not sure you might have another issue
