A must have for any Excal owner. There's no point in owning a re-curve style bow if you don't have a stringer to change the strings. Makes changing strings a breeze. If you somehow manage to get stumped changing your string I'm sure there's a youtube video available. If I can figure it out, I'm sure anyone that should be handling a crossbow can too. Only con to this product doesn't involve the product itself but the shipping. The shipping takes forever, Ill address that in the shipper feedback. It's good to know. If hunting season is in a week and you need a stringer, don't buy it here, go to the store instead.

Works extremely well and a must have if you are going to buy any Excalibur crossbow. It should be included along with the rope cocking device as it is that necessary to have. Maintaining the proper brace height on your crossbow is essential for proper performance as well as providing a long life for the limbs on your crossbow. The brace height is kept at the proper measurement by twisting or untwisting the bow string. At least one end of the bow string must be taken off in order to make these adjustments. This is where the Crossbow Stringer comes into play. You will also need it to change strings. Always good to have a spare string, especially when in the field.

Does everything as advertised. And that is enough to get 5 stars. I am storing my bow with the string off. No tension on the limbs, no tension on the string. This is the way to go.

Thinking of getting an Excalibur in the future. Saw this stringer on their website and thought it might work for my PSE Jolt, and it does. It's extremely well made, one reviewer claims theirs broke, that had to be a fluke or they broke it on purpose. If Excalibur makes their bows this well I'm definitely getting one.
