As described. Works for me to throw my tool bag and random things in backseat while working and not mess up my leather. It also stops heavy things from denting the leather and easy to quickly remove for weekends to let people sit on the seats.

Quite large, would probably cover the back bench of any size vehicle, even big pickup trucks. This covers the back bench of my Honda Fit with material to spare that tucks between seat and car wall. Even with my bench's 2/3 split feature, when I need to fold down 1 or 2 seats, super quick and easy to just unclip the strap around the headrests, elastic band from around the cushion, and lift the seat slightly to remove the little weight that goes between the back and seat, then fold away or toward whichever surface I want covered. I actually got it for my friend's dog, since we like to go hiking together and he gets pretty muddy and his little doggy seat belt harness keeps him confined to the bench (I don't have to worry about protecting the upholstery below my door windows or backs of the front seats). When not covering the back bench, I fold the bench totally flat for hauling cargo and this makes a great surface/dropcloth for the open space, especially since it is waterproof (that's was the 1st thing I tested, the liquid beaded up and ran right off), mind that it has holes for the seat belts. I have not washed it yet but it's basically spot-clean only. Do NOT put in washing machine, just spray with water and wipe it down then drape over a shower rod or fence or patio bench to dry. There may come a day it has to be re-water-proofed, but check the warranty and/or product information before hitting it with any chemicals. I'll probably have a new vehicle before I have to re-treat this cover, but I'll still install this on my passenger bench, no matter the size of the car or frequency of animals, it's just a good protection ... I actually had a gallon of milk leak the other day on my backseat but it was no biggie to wipe up thanks to this cover, almost forgot. I would put a sheet or something over it if hauling wood, waterproof fabrics and splintered wood do not get along.

I bought this for the rear seat of my Ram Sport 4x4 4-door. This truck has a huge back seat. I thought it said it was a fit but it might have been a retro pick up fit. I bought it as I put stuff in the back seat all the time. I have a dog in the back often. Being this high end truck int. Is leather and beautiful I needed something. It is very wide but not wide enough to go the width from seat edge to seat edge with a little over hang. But the biggest I could find. So I bought it thinking it might be close. It is easy to put in. Being my truck is so big it is not a perfect fit. But I put it in and leave it in as to save my seat. When I have others ride in back and for me that is not every week I just unsnap and take out five minute task at most. I have saved my seats multiple times and leather seats are expensive. I took it in the house and wiped it off, great product. They work for my needs. Steve

I bought this a few months ago as kind of an impulse buy. I had purchased one before at pet smart but it quickly tore and overall felt cheap so I was skeptical about wasting money on a new one. But I must say that I'm glad I did! The Amazon basics dog proof seat cover has been great. It fits perfect in my 2011 Toyota 4runner. The material really is water proof and thick so a larger dog who has nails won't peirce a hole in it. It even has little pipes to wedge between the backrest so it doesn't slide around. They are covered completely with nylon. (unlike the cheap Pet smart one I bought). It even has velcro on the ends to kind of fold the cover so any liquid will stay in the cover. And stretchy straps that go under the seat alone with straps that go around the headrest. When done properly this cover won't do anywhere or slide at all. So like I said I've been using it for a few months with a 70 pound German shepherd. It looks so nice that I usually just leave it in my seats as a cover even when my dog isn't going for a ride (is has slots for seatbelts. The other day I was driving with my dog on a road with alot of switchback and my dog got car sick (never happened before) and of course it was right after he drank a lot of water. I could tell it was coming but cpulsnt pull over on the road because there was no space. So I just had to hope the cover works.... And bam he threw up... It was gross and watery. But it saved my seats. I was able to pull off the road at a cost of center about 10 minutes later. I was afraid the "waterproof material" wouldn't have worked but to my surprise it did. I was able to pull over and detach the cover And take it out. I hosed it off and side the material doesn't really hold water I was able to wait for it to dry in about 10 minutes in the sun. My only complaint is that the setabelt holes did allow a very small amount of liquid to leak. But it was only a little compared to what could have been way worse. So just be careful of that. But if you have a dog who is in your car a lot this is a total must! I highly recommend!

This bench cover works great for me, the quality is good, so easy to wipe down and very easy to install, I've had it for a few months now and it's been great. I definitely recommend it

Does this cover protect your car from getting scratched/muddy/wet? Yes. Does it protect it from dog hair? NO. Will dog hair be easily shaken off from the cover? NO, it sticks to it like no other. Granted, I used this cover for the trunk of my 2013 Rav4 (fabric interior) by attaching the cover to the back of the back seats as opposed to using it on the front of the backseat as intended. The main reason was because I didn't want hair all over the back of my front seats. Hope that wasn't too confusing. The dog in question is a big, hyper, yellow lab who cannot contain his excitement when he gets in the car. His tail alone could take out your eye! The slits in the middle of the cover which are intended for seat buckles let in massive amounts of hair. Of course because the cover is place on the back side of the seat, there's more of a gap on the top as it doesn't sit flush against the slant. Hair gets in that way too. Perhaps if your car has leather seats, the hair wouldn't stick everywhere and you could easily vacuum it out...not the case for fabric seats and carpet mats. This dog's hair will be embedded in it. If your dog can calmly sit in the car, like the one pictured, then fine it'll do it's job. Definitely not an amazing cover for dogs that like to move around and shed everywhere. It's a decent cover if you want basic protection from water/scratches/dirt/some pet hair and for a really great price. I plan on sticking fabric or something over the 2 slits in the middle to make sure hair can't get through. Bonus, I've used it after snowboarding and it does a good job of protecting the trunk from my board/gear/melting snow so I'm glad I found a dual purpose for it!

This is exactly what I was looking for. I don't have a dog but I do load up my back seat with boxes of parts for my work and I just wanted a simple and secure way to protect the back seat of my company vehicle without investing in seat covers specific to this model, which could change next year. This seat cover is universal and I can use it in the next vehicle that I get. And the one after that. Also, it is so easy to install with snap buckles on the nylon straps, that I would move it to my Wife's car if we are hauling some sketchy things in her vehicle. It does have holes for the seat belts so that they can still be used with this cover in place. It is made from some fairly heavy (cordura) nylon with a substantial waterproof backing. There is a little bit of an odor when you open the box, but is isn't getting warm enough here yet to know if that odor increases with heat, but I will update this review if it becomes a problem.

Great value for the price. Fits the back seat of my 2010 Mazda 3 just fine and protects my leather seats from scratches (doggy paws). It's quick to install and remove because it's just 2 straps around the headrest, 1 flap that slips between the seat and backrest (with a dowel/anchor to keep it from pulling out) and then some trickier elastic straps to attach to the corners of the seat bench - a bit slippery with leather, you gotta really tuck them under to secure. You can also still buckle 2 seatbelts (not the middle seat) with this cover on. I think this is a great cover if you plan to use it on occasion rather than having it on all the time. Since it is pretty basic with just a few straps, it's easy to install and remove so I just put it on my seats when I plan to have the pup in the car. Then I easily remove it.

This is a wonderful back seat cover for the price, the straps are easily adjustable and for the pricing, extra discount for prime members makes me happy. The cover is easy to attach and adjust to the seat and also easy to clean as well. You can wash it in the machine or wipe it down on the rainy days. It seems to be quite secure, my dog tries to move around a lot during drives. I believe how well it stays in place will depend on the design of your car's headrests. You can also tuck the sides of the cover into small spaces around the seats or around the headrests to make it more secure. You'll certain like this if there's snow where you live.

Très bon rapport qualité prix du produit commandé et reçu chez Amazon. cette housse est de bonne qualité, épaisse et 100% étanche! pour preuve dès sa première utilisation notre Bouledog Français avait vaumi durant le trajet. J'ai nettoyé sans difficulté la housse et rien n'ai passé au travers. Mais surtout je suis ravis de cet achat pour les poils courts et dures de notre toutou. Avant, avec une couverture + 1 serviette ils arrivaient à se déposer sur mes sièges arrières de mon véhicule (une SKODA OCTAVIA 2018). Maintenant plus aucun poil ne passe au travers! Cette housse est très simple à installer et sera s'adapter à plusieurs types de véhicule offrants 3 places à l'arrière. Cela prend environ 2 minutes montre en main pour l'installer correctement tellement c'est simple est efficace. Je recommande cette housse de protection à tous les toutous voyageurs...

Mi auto es una Chevrolet Captiva 2022, tengo 5 perros (2 de 18-23kg, 2 chihuahueños y una de 10kg) por lo que un protector para el asiento del auto era indispensable. Este se ajustó Perfecto y fue muy fácil instalarlo. El producto se ve de muy buena calidad, bastante resistente. El material es impermeable, ya que, por la parte de atrás es como lona y al frente es tela gruesa. Trae sujetadores de elástico para los costados, dos barras pequeñas para insertar en los asientos y que no se muevan, se ajusta a los cabezales con broche de presión y tiene aperturas para los cinturones de seguridad. Como primera impresión me parece un producto excelente. Buena relación costo-calidad. Espero las imágenes ayuden con su compra. Sí lo recomiendo.
