Best damn sock in existence!
I now have 7 pair of these. Along with 3 pair of Darn Tough Men's Quarter Lightweight Running Sock (Style 1715) for shorts weather. I turn 50 next year and I'm fairly certain I found the last socks I will ever buy. I absolutely LOVE these. Back when I was getting whatever socks were cheapest at brick and mortar I would go through socks like water. They would never last. Holes within days. I got foot fatigue from wearing cheap socks within hours of putting them on. My feet would get itchy if I left the cheap socks on for more than an hour without shoes. And the swamp foot I would get from my work boots could choke a billy goat. Everything I experienced with cheap socks are gone since getting these. I can wear them all day and night and they almost feel like slippers. My feet don't get itchy anymore if I wear them all day around the house without shoes. They don't get my feet too hot, keeping them perfectly comfortable. They do NOT fall down either. Possibly ever so slightly depending what my jeans are doing but I have yet to have them bunch up at the top of my shoe. And the swamp foot vanished almost overnight. I tried EVERYTHING to get rid of the stink. These socks are the ONLY thing that worked for me. Breathable and wicking yet warm/cool and cozy. I swear they feel like slippers to me. The only time I do not have them on are when I'm sleeping or showering. And they seem to get better with use. When they are new they don't seem like much. Kinda thin but still more substantial to regular cotton socks I guess. After a few washes they thicken up and get comfortable as hell. A nice bonus. My shoe size varies but I range from a 10 1/2 wide to an 11 1/2 wide depending on footwear manufacturer so I went with the large. They were slightly tight to begin with when they were new but after a few washes they kinda stretched out and fit me perfectly now. I'm wondering if that's where some of the negative reviews point of views come from. There IS a break in period with these socks. Please remember that. They may not be flawless when new but give them some time and they WILL shine! Now I have zero problems paying a premium for higher quality products and these are definitely worth every penny spent. And if they last as long as they claim all the better. My perfect sock.

Best Socks Ever!
I purchased these Darn Tough Vermont Men’s Hiker Midweight Micro Crew Socks in anticipation of a planned hiking trip across the Middle East later this year, and I wanted something genuinely durable and dependable that could work across a variety of conditions and footwear — hiking boots, running shoes, and even Peloton cycling shoes like I’m wearing in the attached photo. What immediately impressed me was how well these socks stay in place. I’ve owned countless “hiking socks” over the years that constantly slide down the leg and need to be pulled back up throughout the day. These absolutely do not. Once they’re on, they stay put. To really put them through their paces, I intentionally wore them almost nonstop for nearly two weeks trying to simulate the kind of conditions I may face on extended travel. Even after all that use, the material has held up remarkably well. No fraying, no pilling, no loose threads, and no signs of premature wear whatsoever. The cushioning on the soles is excellent without feeling bulky. They keep my feet warm when needed, but they also breathe surprisingly well and never left my feet feeling damp or overheated. Comfort-wise they’ve been outstanding, especially during long periods on my feet and cycling workouts. These socks honestly exceeded my expectations in every category: durability, comfort, fit, breathability, and performance. They may cost more than ordinary socks, but after wearing them, I completely understand why people swear by Darn Tough products. I’ll absolutely be purchasing more pairs, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a serious, dependable hiking sock that actually lives up to the hype.

I am really happy with this product! These are all worth every penny!
I bought these socks for myself because I had heard from a friend that they were very comfortable, and I am exceedingly happy with them! At first, $25 for a pair of socks sounded ridiculous, but since being able to use them, it has been amazing to see the benefits. They are nice and snug, but super breathable; they are a good thickness and weight, and because of the neutral colors that you can choose, they are super versatile for different events or everyday tasks that have to be done. They have lasted me quite a while because of their durability as well. They are super strong and don't get discolored or gross-looking. They are just really well built and are great socks overall. I totally recommend any kind of these socks from this brand. They are worth every penny!

Worth Every Penny!
I never thought I’d get excited about socks, but these Darn Tough Hiker Midweight Micro Crew Socks completely changed my mind! If you’re looking for comfortable, durable, and high-quality socks for hiking, camping, or everyday wear, these are absolutely worth it. Comfort & Fit – Perfect All Day From the moment I put these on, I could tell they were different from regular socks. The cushioning is just right—not too thick, not too thin—and they fit snugly without being too tight. They stay in place all day, so no annoying bunching or slipping inside my boots. Breathability & Moisture-Wicking – No More Sweaty Feet! One of the biggest surprises was how well these keep my feet dry. The merino wool blend is fantastic at wicking away sweat, and my feet stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter. No more damp, smelly socks after a long hike! Durability – Built to Last These socks are tough! I’ve worn them for multiple hikes and long days on my feet, and they still look brand new. No holes, no thinning, and no loose threads. Plus, Darn Tough offers a lifetime warranty, so if they ever wear out, they’ll replace them! Pros & Cons ✅ Super comfortable with perfect cushioning ✅ Moisture-wicking and breathable ✅ Stay in place—no slipping or bunching ✅ Extremely durable with a lifetime warranty ✅ Great for all seasons ❌ A little pricey – But totally worth it for the quality ❌ Might feel snug at first – But they mold to your feet over time Final Verdict – Are They Worth It? YES! These are hands-down the best hiking socks I’ve ever owned. They’re incredibly comfortable, durable, and perfect for any adventure. Even though they cost more than regular socks, they last forever and are worth every cent. If you’re serious about hiking—or just want amazing socks for everyday wear—you won’t regret buying these! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) – Highly Recommended!

New sock brand
Very comfortable as I start breaking in my hiking boots for Iceland. They are light weight and warm enough, considering I'm walking in 100°.

Quality socks
Good quality socks. They feel good and I have zero complaints..i dont think they live up to the hype but only because some reviews make them seem like they changed their lives. They're just good socks and I'm sure there's others just as good for less. 4 stars simply because of the price

The fit and material gets better with more washes!!!!
I wanted to try these because I was born in Burlington, I almost exclusively wear wool socks, and the reviews are overwhelmingly positive. Although, I was not initially impressed with the material's softness and the fit of the socks, after wearing and washing/drying them a couple times my feeling have completely changed. The material although not very soft out of the box, are very competitive with smart wool's softness after washing and drying. What's really impressive is how the material holds up to multiple wash cycles. They pill A LOT less than Smartwool or Arcteryx wool socks, while maintaining just as much softness. As for the fit, when I first received them and tried them on they seemed to lack a heel pocket and toe box large enough to hug my foot comfortably. It felt like they were slipping of my heal and the "seamless" seam wrapped around the toe to the left of my pinky toe and bothered me. However, these socks seem to have a break in period and all of these fit issues went away completely after wearing them. few times. In, conclusion I love these socks and am proud that they are being made in VT. I am sorry Darn Tough, that I wrote my original review without giving these socks a fair shake. They are high quality socks and worth the price. Thank you!

17 Miles - perfect !
Broke these in with a 17.76 mile ruck, and didn’t have any foot soreness or any sign of blisters ! Have a pair of MudGeat to test out next and compare . These are legit , and with the cost to go pain free in your feet at least with that kind of distance !

Great product !!
Purchased for a family member who is always on the go . Literally 20-30K steps in only a few hours! They wear through every other sock they’ve ever owned within a day or two . We decided to try these because of the quality materials and also the warranty . Receiver is extremely satisfied with these socks ! They state that these are extremely comfortable and look good . Most importantly after multiple days of wear they are holding up strong ! I would definitely recommend to anyone who walks excessively for whatever reason .
