Blank Seal Set Stone Seal Engraving Kit Stone Carving Set Stone Engraving Tools (16 Stone)

Recently learned to carve pipestone to make primitive beads. Getting more stone to learn to carve with was a lot of fun. I think the quality of the stones is great. They are all different colors and soft enough to carve. I appreciated that they came so quickly and were well wrapped. These are fun to learn on.

Most of the stones are great. There are some really good sizes for practicing and hopefully getting some good pieces, though since I'm a beginner, just getting some good practice in is all I'm really aiming for at this point. There are a couple pretty ones with some interesting colors and patterns., many that are very similar, and a few that are thin and small and almost unusable. I suppose I could do them if I pick up a clamp to hold them and use very, VERY thin lines, but it just seems pointless. I can carve into the sides for practice, I suppose, but they'll never be a seal. For the price I paid, though, I'm mostly satisfied.

Thank you to the Seller. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Not recommended. Don't buy and read reviews. Stones received vary significantly from pictures. 16 stones arrived. Some with chips and one with internal crack thats not usable. White stones are all 2 to 3 cm shorter than pics. Only 3 red stones, no cylinder stone. Color 6 black, 3 red (poor quality color not vivid red like pic), 1 green, 6 white stones. Dimensions (cm) Black accurate except small curved top stone is 2 cm shorter than pic. Stone so small not usable. Red dimensions matched pic. except, again curved top stone very short about 3 cm shorter than pic, 2cm tall too small to be useful. White stones are a disaster. Dimensions are all sigificantly smaller shorter than pics. Many stones too small to be useful. No white 3x3x5 stone provided it was replaced with 1x2x2.5 No cylinder stone provided in its place white 1x2x2.5 White Curved top stone 2.5 base 2.5 height. Half size of stone in pic. Vendors should ship stones with correct dimensions. Dimensions are completely controllable parameter. No two natural stones will have the same color, so I expected some color variation but completely expect the dimensions to be accurate. I won't recommend this product and I'm very disappointed. I would be happy with a refund. I wanted stones that have dimensions, shapes that resemble the stones in pictures and similar color that approximates color in picture. Stones were wrapped well in bubble wrap and a strong box. Stones still have some chips and rough cut that will need to be polished out. Amazon needs to communicate to vendors to accurately picture and describe the products they actually ship.

some small pieces

I was 70% happy with the items in the lot. I have 3 things that was disappointing. 1. Doesn't match thr picture shown for the item description. No cylinder stones. 2. One of the stones has a cracked running through it and making it unusable. 3. A lot of oblong stones and only 1 skinny rectangle one. Would have been 4 stars if all the stones were usable but since 1 isn't usable dropped down to 3 stars. I didn't feel 15/16 stones being usable was bad enough to try to return it.

Just as described. Good quality and variety.

It's a little uglier than the picture, but the quality is OK

It wax a gift and while it was received happily I was not completely happy with thd fact that it was a little misleading yo me, as "Engraving tool kit" turned out to be thd stones only, which I would not interpret as tools, ha. Plus had more white stones then advertised in picture.
