Tried other dog toothpaste brands but this one appears to actually work. My doggy is a senior and already has developed not so healthy teeth for a while now despite daily brushing but this toothpaste seems to have cleared up some plague. My dog seems to be ok digesting and tolerating this toothpaste as well so will definitely continue using this in the future.

I use this on my cats every day. They love love love the taste, but I have not noticed a real improvement in their dental condition Feline ORIF. Still having teeth pulled and still have red gums, but a little better breath. Better than the other pastes available, just for the reason they don't mind me putting it on their teeth.

I've brushed my 5.5 year old border collie's teeth with a variety of toothpastes, and she really seems to enjoy this one. Brushing dog teeth isn't particularly glorious or comfortable for either of us, but she tolerates it and I try to keep it in short sessions. This, I have to ask her to let me actually brush it onto her teeth before she licks it all off the bristles. 😅 I imagine it's primarily the flavor, but she loves her toothpaste. She gets to lick a little dollop off her brush as a reward between brushing each side and when we're finished, and she goes ham. Her vet said her teeth look great, and I'd definitely recommend adding brushing with Bluestem into your pet care routine!

I have had issues with my Yorkie letting me clean his teeth & tongue but with this tooth paste he loves the taste of this product & allows me access to do so. I use the chicken flavored paste. Thanks for a great product.

I don't have any other dog toothpaste to compare this with, but both of my dogs love the taste, which helps a lot when brushing their teeth. I have noticed a slight decrease in tartar on my older dog's teeth after using the product for a couple of months, and hope this will continue. My younger dog is too young to have any tartar build-up, so I am using it mainly as a preventative.

I have a cat that has some gum issues (2 yo) and my other cat just had some plaque (5 yo). We were using another tooth paste and it just didn’t seem to be helping. My vet recommended this tooth paste and wow! We brushed with gauze because his gums would bleed so bad and after a few months we were able to switch to a tooth brush with no bleeding gums. The plaque build up is completely gone on the 5 year old cat. We have since moved and switched vets and they are all impressed with their teeth. Both like it so much they will sit there and chew the brush after we are done

My dog likes it. She gets her teeth brushed every night. And if I for get she will go in the bathroom and cry at me. So she must like the taste. And she let’s me brush her teeth not just eat the paste. She is only two but her teeth look good. Why has Amazon stopping carrying this product?
