Where Do Diggers Sleep at Night? (Where Do...Series)

This series is great, they rhyme, teach the kids something (as many children's books don't, I realize as I purchase books from my childhood), have great illustrations, and can be read over and over!!

This is our second favorite nighttime themed book. The first is Time for Bed, which is very cute. This is an entirely different book, and definitely geared towards truck-loving toddlers. We often chose to read both books because our 19 month old can't decide which he wants. The colors are vibrant but still calming and appropriate for bedtime, but still beautiful. The book is a standard board book material and high quality. The illustrations are beautiful and fun. We all love this. The story imagines how every type of truck addresses bedtime. Like the photo shows the momma excavator hugging her baby from front to backhoe for his goodnight hug. The rhyming pattern is fun and easy to read, and my son loves it. I would recommend this book as part of any early toddler book collection, even if they aren't truck crazy! I just purchased one for a baby shower because we love it so much.

Personifying construction site vehicles and equipment is so fun for little ones. Wonderful, study board, books built to last. 5-STARS

My son is obsessed with all things diggers, so I knew this would be a great addition to his book collection. The cadence is great and the illustrations are fun and bright. One star off because it’s a little flimsier than other board books we have and therefore a little easier to beat up (but we are admittedly tough on books!) Perfect for the big machine lover in your life. I hope this review was helpful!

My almost three-year-old son loves all kinds of trucks, like most little boys, so I searched for a truck book for him for Christmas. This one kept showing up in my list of recommendations based on my recent purchases so I decided to give it a chance and I purchased it. This is now one of his favorites and we have read it so many times since Christmas morning but he never gets tired of it! Even his twin sister likes it and we sit, read the book, and talk about the story throughout the day. At approximately 24 glossy board book pages, this book is a wonderful book for little boys or girls to read in the morning or at night. The story reads in a rhyming way which I love because I think it makes it more fun to read, especially if you are reading it all the time! Each set of pages contains about two sentences that ask kids to imagine how a certain type of truck goes to bed at night. The types of trucks mentioned in the book are diggers, dump trucks, garbage trucks, monster trucks, fire engines, snowplows, car transporters, tow trucks, cranes, tractors and semis so it would be perfect for kids with interests in one or more of those trucks. I think this book is great to feed kids' imaginations because it helps them wonder what trucks do after they've put in a long day's work. A lot of the pages even show the daddy or mommy trucks putting their kid trucks to bed. My kids love this book and I'm glad I purchased it because we have gotten a lot of use out of it so far! It makes a great bedtime story but can also be read during the day. If you have kids who love reading about big trucks or you just want a good bedtime story, I highly recommend this book!

英語はわかりませんが、車好きな子供のために、可愛い絵だったので購入しました。 なんとなく適当に読んであげていますが、喜んで聴いてくれて、単調な英語のためか寝る前に読むので気づいたら寝ています。 子供なりに自分でストーリーを作ったり、質問したりして、親は適当に答えるのですがそれはそれで毎回いろんなストーリーができて楽しいです。 シンプルでわかりやすい絵本だと思います。 良い絵本に出会えました。 ２歳〜３歳の息子にはちょうどよかったです。

Where Do Diggers Sleep at Night? Purchased for grandson who loves excavators so he was impressed. Very nice book, appropriate for approximately 2-5 year olds.

I punti di forza di questo libro, a mio avviso, sono il formato, piccolo e molto pratico anche per un bambino di 2/3 anni, e i disegni ben fatti. Per quest’ultimo aspetto mio figlio, che adora ogni tipo di camion, lo ha adorato fin da subito. Confermo che è scritto in AmEN, ma non essendo una madrelingua non ritengo questo un grosso problema. Per contro, devo dire che le rime sono molto povere e nel complesso non hanno una grossa musicalità.
