Schluckwerder Chocolate Covered Marzipan Loaves - 2.65oz

The price is high for the size but it is fresh and delicious. The chocolate is a real dark chocolate and not too sweet and the marzipan is fluffy with a melt in your mouth texture and a nice almond flavor

The product was unsatisfactory and inedible because the chocolate was chalky, dusty, and seemed a bit moldy. It was obviously stored improperly and probably very old. I tried a bite of it and its taste was like chalk and had no resemblance to dark chocolate. The marzipan was overwhelmed by the chalky chocolate flavor, which made it entirely inedible.

Item has a great taste, if you are aware and familiar with it. Very popular European style confection. Try to avoid eating too much of it. A little goes a long way. A small amount has a good combination of filling and chocolate for a perfect end result. Savor it. A like this, you might too.

This is one of my favorite candy bars. Unfortunately, it came melted, and after putting it the refrigerator for an hour or so, it came out hard and crunchy. In fact: It was very hard to eat (like rock candy) and had no flavor at all. The product itself is great, but during hot summer months (especially in Arizona), this product shouldn't be purchased to avoid having to go through what I did.

It was good but a bit over priced for its size. Flavor was amazing and reminded me of how much i enjoyed it as a kid.

This product was old & had no taste. I was highly disappointed. I'd really hoped it was going to taste fresh. The package was repackaged with a new sticker & new bar code which worried me. I wonder how old this was & there was no expiration date. The chocolate flaked off of the entire marzipan roll & tasted terrible & old. I was a bit upset about the price & had to throw it out. Not fresh at all.

I did not like this at all. The marzipan is very, very DRY. Old stock probably. No way we could eat ….. no taste whatsoever.

Remindes me of being back in Germany.
