As always and with anything of the Vitamix blender or accessories they do what they say they do and hold up for life with the right treatment. . .so glad I own a Vitamix. It's just such a workhorse and never failed

Fits perfectly
Love this tamper for my vitamix mixer. My original one was soft plastic and got torn up but this one is a hard plastic and it works beautifully.

Great quality
Necessary for thicker blends. My original was damaged due to my stupidity, otherwise it would have lasted my lifetime. Heavy duty plastic that is easy to clean by hand or dishwasher. When I bought this here, it was cheaper than trying to buy directly from Vitamix, so I appreciated saving money.

If nobody knew it broke then it didn't break
Accidentally broke my vitamin stick thing and bought another one while throwing away the one I broke. No one knew. It's also a pretty good price too, but just remember to never use the pushy thing without the safety guard.

Works and fits the 32 oz wet & dry containers
Works and fits the 32 oz wet & dry containers. Price seems out of line for a piece of plastic ;-) No way to judge durability except by purposely trying to damage it. It's probably fine. I'm still using a 64 oz container and tamper that belonged to my grandmother about 1976 and it's survived drops and multiple moves to other homes (although the top part of the lid went missing!).

I can make almond butter in a flash!!
I guess I use a lot of almond butter. I never knew how easy it would be to make my own. It was nearly impossible before I bought this tool. Now I can use my "dry" VitaMix jar, throw in a pound of roasted almonds, put the speed on high (right away!! Let it beat those almonds all to heck, fast!! If you go low-speed, the motor overheats. Counter-intuitive, I know. I had to look it up on YouTube after my VitaMix stopped working, mid-almond-butter-making.) and keep tamping it down for about three minutes -- and voila, almond butter. The new long-handled VitaMix scraper I bought also helps clean out the jar. Aaaah...fresh organic celery, lots of Real Salt grated over top, and almond butter...and Iʻm in heaven.
