Considering this product. How does the powder coat hold up? Is it really quality made and does it perform well?

After researching various toasters we decided to "splurge" and purchased the Smeg - 4-slice in cream a few months ago. Powder coat is holding up fine. I wipe with a wet dish rag after each use and haven't had any issues. It toasts (bread, bagels, english muffins) perfectly. Our go to on the toasting dial is 3-3.5. I would purchase this again and again.

Does this work on 220v or just 110v?

This is made for 110v. The manufacturer stipulates this for US/Canada model numbers.

Will it spread jam on my fresh baguette?

no, but it will leave you broke and not being able to afford the jam for your baguette.
