Aamco brake lathe parts
Have tried Chinese knockoffs, don't compare to aamco bits.

AMMCO 6914-10 Negative Rake Carbide Insert (10 Pack)
They cut brake rotors very well. They are negative rake, so they cut faster but the finish is not as smooth as the positive rake. I wish they had a more rounded tip.

Great for Woodworking as well
I bought these to make my own wood turning tools. In about 30 minutes time you can make a great turning tool with these and other carbide cutting tools. I shape the end of a square rod to match up to the shape of the cutter and then insert that rod into a handle that I have turned from a peice of scrap wood. In about 30 minutes I have a tool that cost me about $15.00 that I can take pride in having made it. Of course I could have spent a minimum of 4 times that amount to get one with someone elses name on it. Try it you will be proud.
