Great Espresso Maker
I’ve been using the De’Longhi Nespresso Vertuo Plus for a little while now, and it’s been excellent. The coffee comes out consistently smooth, and I like that it can brew different cup sizes depending on the pod. It also heats up fast, which is great for busy mornings. Cleaning and maintenance have been simple so far. Overall, it delivers great-tasting coffee with minimal effort. Definitely worth it if you want a convenient, reliable coffee maker at home.

Love it! (Except for the descaling!)
I've been searching for the 'perfect' coffee-maker for some time now, and I have to say, this Nespresso VertuoPlus comes pretty close. We've been using a Keurig for many years now, and while it's certainly convenient and easy-to-use, lately the quality of the coffee has not been good. I can't seem to find any Keurig pods that make decent coffee any more, and even though my Keurig is only about a year old, I was sick of crappy tasting coffee in the mornings. So I bit the bullet and tried the Nespresso VertuoPlus, and it's SO much better than the Keurig--as others mentioned, it's like getting good coffee from a coffee shop. I can make an Americano that tastes virtually identical to what I get at Starbucks or similar shops, and the machine is very easy to use. Even my husband, who is extremely picky about his coffee, was very impressed by the taste, although he thought just the 7.7 oz. pods alone were a bit on the weak side, so has been using a shot of espresso in them which did the trick. The Pros: Relatively low price for the machine; very easy to set up and use; and great tasting coffee. The Cons: Pods are expensive and not widely available in stores; you can find a couple varieties of Starbucks vertuo pods in local stores, but that's about it. They're mostly available on-line via Nespresso or Amazon, and we're talking an average of about $1 a pod. It's also a bit noisy, which doesn't bother me, but may annoy some people. All in all, I'm very happy with this coffee maker, however I've only had it a couple weeks, so I can't attest to its durability. I'll amend my review if I have any problems with it. UPDATE: I've been using this about 6 months now and it's still working well, with decent coffee quality. However, I have to say the descaling process is nuts. The procedure listed in the manual does not work. Had to go to Nespresso website for accurate instructions. Even with the correct procedure, its a ridiculously cumbersome process. Glad I'll only have to do it once or twice a year!

The best purchase I’ve made this year – totally obsessed!
I’ve used Nespresso machines in hotel rooms and at friends’ places before, but bringing one into my own home hits completely differently. I bought this during a sale after finally having some room in my budget, and honestly, I wish I had done it sooner. The first thing I made was an iced coffee with the light blue iced pod, and I was shocked at how good it was. I’m an iced Americano person to my core, and this pod tasted so smooth, clean, and perfectly balanced. I didn’t expect to be this impressed, but it honestly felt like a little moment of happiness in my day. The machine itself looks sleek and high end, takes up barely any space, and is incredibly easy to use. No mess, no hassle, and no more last minute Starbucks runs or settling for instant coffee. It already makes my mornings feel more put-together and enjoyable. If I could give this 100 stars, I would. This machine genuinely makes me excited to wake up in the morning. Absolutely worth it.

A Coffee Renaissance in My Kitchen: My Nespresso VertuoPlus Review (with a Tiny Spoiler...)
Alright, coffee connoisseurs and caffeine fiends, gather round! Let's chat about the Nespresso VertuoPlus Coffee and Espresso Machine by De'Longhi. My inner java junkie was skeptical at first, but let me tell you, this little machine has turned my kitchen into a personal barista paradise (with a tiny caveat at the end, but we'll get to that). Brewtiful Brews in Seconds: Forget those agonizingly long waits for a decent cup of joe. The VertuoPlus whips up barista-worthy coffee and espresso in under a minute. From smooth Lungos to intense Espressos, it uses these fancy "centrifusion" and barcode-reading pods to tailor each brew to perfection. No more measuring grounds, adjusting settings, or wondering if you'll end up with lukewarm disappointment or bitter punishment. This machine practically brews coffee with pixie dust and rainbows. Variety is the Spice of Coffee Life: Craving a creamy Latte? A bold Double Espresso? Or maybe a fruity Vertuo Next? The VertuoPlus has your back (and your taste buds) with a wide range of pod options. It's like having a mini coffee shop in your kitchen, catering to every mood and caffeine craving. Plus, the pods are super easy to use – pop them in, press a button, and boom, instant coffee satisfaction. Sleek and Stylish, Doesn't Hog Bench Space: The VertuoPlus isn't just a coffee machine, it's a sleek kitchen accessory. It looks modern and chic, with a compact design that doesn't eat up precious counter space. Plus, the brushed stainless steel finish adds a touch of sophistication to any coffee corner. One-Touch Ease for Lazy Mornings (and Evenings): Let's be honest, sometimes mornings (and evenings) are rough. That's where the VertuoPlus's one-touch operation shines. Just pick your pod, press a button, and wait for your caffeine miracle. No need to fiddle with settings or decipher a cryptic instruction manual. This machine is practically coffee therapy incarnate. Okay, Now for the Tiny Spoiler: The pods, while amazing, can be a tad pricey. It's not your "grab a bag of beans" kind of setup. But here's the thing: the convenience, speed, and consistency are pretty darn addictive. And let's not forget the sheer variety of coffee adventures you can embark on. So, while it might not be the budget-friendliest option, it's definitely worth its weight in delicious, hassle-free coffee gold. Final Verdict? A Standing Ovation (with a Milk Frother Chaser): Despite the slightly steeper pod price tag (which, honestly, feels like a minor quibble compared to the awesomeness), the Nespresso VertuoPlus Coffee and Espresso Machine by De'Longhi is a game-changer. It's fast, convenient, delivers consistently delicious coffee, and looks good doing it. If you're a coffee lover who values quality, variety, and ease, this machine is a must-have. Just maybe budget for a nice milk frother to complete your home barista bliss. Trust me, your future lattes will thank you. So, go forth, conquer your coffee cravings, and join the VertuoPlus fam! You won't regret it (unless you accidentally drink all the pods in one sitting, then you might have a caffeine-induced meltdown. But that's a story for another day).

Malfunctioned Day After Return Window Closed
I bought one of these back in 2020 and loved the quality of coffee, then it died within days of the warranty expiring...and tossed it in the trash. Then I saw the same machine on a sale price and after I saw that an extended warranty was available I purchased my now 2nd machine. Days after the return window closed in August, the pods stop ejecting and as you can see in my photo, the pod holder is stuck in the down position. I got in touch with De'Longhi support and after several emails back and forth, they refer me to Nespresso support. I asked them, wouldn't it have just been easier to refer me to Nespresso support in the first place rather than have me take photos and go back and forth? So I get in touch with Nespresso support and they....eh hem....have me get on a Video Call for 45 minutes...might have been longer, and they have me brew cup after cup...and try various things. They told me I needed to descale the machine, being that the descaling light was "on". I didn't disagree, but I asked them why they thought the spring at the bottom of the pod holder had anything to do with descaling. So, I purchased a "Nespresso descaling" kit just avoid finger pointing or accusations that I went off-brand with my descaling efforts. The descaling warning light did turn off, but the pod holder and ejection remained as it was. Then the descaling light turned back on. Then after I descale the machine "two times", I call Nespresso support again. They have me back on a Video call again, and have me descaling again, this time with water. The support guy subtly accused me of not descaling. After 45 minutes on this time sucking Video call, the descaling light turned off, just like it had for me when I descaled the machine, but later turned on again. I informed the support guy that this had happened before where the descaling light turned off briefly, but had turned back on shortly after. Then....support informs me that I will need to return the machine for repair. After 1.5 hours of Video call support, I get to return the machine for repair. He informs me that this will take 2 weeks. So I asked if Nespresso cross-ships (with credit card) a working machine and I return the malfunctioning machine? His answer, "No, Nespresso doesn't do that". My summary: People, if you must have a Nespresso machine, don't buy this version with automatic ejecting, because it definitely will malfunction, it's just a matter of time. And the extended warranty offered here doesn't kick in until the manufacturer's warranty expires in 1 year. Nespresso has wonderful coffee, but their machines and support are need of refinement. I believe I will go for a more high end espresso machine next go around. arrrrggghhhh....

Good quality coffee, a bit too pricey
I love the coffee from the De'Longhi Nespresso Vertuo Plus - it tastes rich and smooth, and the machine brews it very fast with virtually no wait time in the morning. If you want a quick, great-tasting cup, this does exactly that. That said, there are a few downsides. You can't use any pods other than Nespresso-branded Vertuo capsules, which are on the expensive side. Also, the largest size you can brew is 7.7 ounces (so if you're looking for a bigger cup, this won't cut it). Overall it makes excellent coffee quickly, but the pod limitations and cost are definitely things to consider

Simple to use and great tasting coffee or espresso
I purchased this recently and just tried it out yesterday. I had debated the need for one as I have an amazing Delonghi espresso machine purchased the beginning of 2025 (or end of 2024) and have enjoyed using that, along with my Ninja coffee bar from 2 years ago. Because I've only used it four times in two days, it's early to do a review that would do this justice, but I'll offer my insights from what I know. It's super simple to set up, very easy to use and is perfect for a small space in the kitchen. If I had a child in a college dorm, this would be perfect. It would be great in a tiny home or camper. Ok, so you get the idea. Great size, and the ability to move the water container to either side or the back is just chef's kiss. My kitchen is an average size, and with all my other electronics on the counter, this was perfect. The noise is truly minimal. No complaints there. I did happen to use a small espresso cup today and the machine vibrated just enough to move my glass partly away from the espresso stream that a fair amount went into the drip tray before I caught it and held the cup in place. My counter is level, so it's unrelated to how it is sitting. Even though I just set this up two days ago, I wasn't going to pour the missed espresso in the tray in my drink. Just be aware of that. If the drip tray had some sort of coating, like a light rubber coat, that would help. As for the coffee and espresso taste quality, so far it's been good. I will switch back and forth between my espresso machine and the Nespresso, depending on the day. I purchased the Pistachio flavored espresso pods and I was surprised that I could actually taste the flavor. It was strong. I like that there are a lot of flavors and sizes. If you read the top of the pod you will know how much liquid the machine will put out so you can get the correct cup size. Apparently I did not know the correct size of my cute cups and it overflowed, but that is on me. The machine heats up really fast, and depending on what other preparations are needed prior to using it, you can have a nice brew in no time. The instructions sent with the Nespresso aren't the best. Very minimal and has multiple languages on a single page. Any additional questions or insights can be found on Google (or Edge, whatever browser) and there are some easy to understand videos available. It's great that the pods are recyclable. I know there are other ways to reuse the ones you have with your own coffee, but I have read from some people that caused the machine to fail at some point. Whether or not it's truly related no one could say, but I believe I'll stick to the pods made for the Nespresso. For someone who is trying to save money and make your own specialty coffee at home, I say go for this. You may have to tinker with ingredients, such a syrups, sauces and creamer or milks, but it's actually fun. I was eyeing some of the cold frothing machines, but decided to try my little handheld frother. It worked very well in my chilled, stainless steel frothing pitcher, especially with whole milk. This summer I've been doing iced coffee at home, so having the right tools and knowing how to use them is important to your coffee at home. There are lots of videos to learn from too. I work from home, so I don't have to go anywhere to get my caffeine fix. Not to mention the cost savings and wait time. Even if I did have to go to work, I could whip up a drink in 5 minutes or less and be out the door, smiling with my drink. ☺️ The price is right too, as an actual espresso machine can be high. Personally I'm glad I have both. I can't wait to try other flavors!

2. Wahl ???????

Amazing coffee
This is our first Nespresso machine, but not our first coffee pod system. These coffees are far superior to other pod coffees and comparable to cafés. Easy to use, and the technology is very cool.
