Check the Physical Size Before Buying
I'm giving 4 stars even though I didn't use it. The quality appears great but it's almost like a scale model (see photo). It didn't appear that there was enough thread in the adapter for my old pipes to seat fully. The photo shows this unused brass fitting beside the standard size stainless steel that I ended up using.

Not Actually NPT (tapered) Thread
The threads on this fitting are not tapered thread, they are straight thread. Interestingly, they shipped with gaskets that appear to have done the job of sealing. The thread pitch is correct, but there is no taper on either the 1/2 or 3/4. Supplier should think about a better description for the threads.

Bad threads
Threads are oversized on both ends

Watch the Threads
These reducing couplings are solid, just that the thread angles are marginal on engagement. I ended up using more PTFE tape than normal to get it to seal. But it's holding!
