Sensitive Precision™ Dermaplaning Face Kit

I wasn't sure what to expect from this product. Dermaplaning is something I had been looking into but due to lockdown the timing left me looking online for solutions I could use myself. Some tools on sale seemed to be more for professionals and I really didnt want to harm my face. I came across this item from Veet and due to it being safe and easy to use I decided to purchase as it is such a reasonable price. I also purchased a spare set of heads as I like to be prepared so if I like the outcome I'm set up to continue use. I have now had this for a month and used it twice, as instructed. The first time I used the tool I was very precise and collected the debry on a tissue and k was honestly shocked. I follow a skin care routine and my skin is not awful however I was shocked to see the dirt which came off my face. Applying the face oil which comes with the item, it helps to glide the tool over your face easily. As someone with quite a lot of 'peach fuzz' on my face, it felt strange to have my face feel so sensitive. The wind on my face was such a strange sensation, but I guess only the same as shaving your legs for the first time ever. I got used to it after about a week. It is not noticeable when the fuzz begins to grow back and is only very slightly noticeable to the touch. Overall I'm really happy I purchased this and although dermaplaning in a salon is more invasive in getting impurity out of the skin i think this is working just fine for me and could save me a lot of money in the long run.

I'm a big fan of DIY dermaplaning and have used several tools for this previously, including the "tinkle" style eyebrow razors and specifically designed dermaplabing blades, however all of these have been totally "manual" tools, I was initially interested in the Veet product due to the added vibration with the tool. My first impressions were good, the tool was neatly packaged in a small cardboard box, it is supplied with a drawstring storage bag, a battery, a second dermaplaning head and two small vials of moisturising oil to use before the treatment. It was easy to assemble, pop the battery in, click the head into place and remove the safety cover from the blade- simple! I started with gently cleansing my skin to ensure that there was no makeup or skincare residue, and then thoroughly dried my face. I then proceeded with the treatment- I applied the supplied oil and used the dermaplaning tool to remove the vellus hair from my cheeks alongside darker hair from my upper lip and dark hairs from around my eyebrow region. Its important to ensure you're holding your skin taught when using the tool to make sure you've removed as much of the hair as possible, and to ensure you get the full benefits of the exfoliation too. The gentle vibrations certainly helped to ensure that the exfoliation was as effective as possible, it took me less than ten minutes to complete the treatment, and I had zero irritation following use. After completing the treatment, I gently cleansed my face a second time and applied a light moisturiser, my skin was smooth and glowing! The following morning my skin looked and felt just as good as it had the night before, with zero redness or irritation, and my makeup and skincare applied like a dream. I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone interested in at-home dermaplaning, newbies and those who are more experienced alike. For those who are new to the treatment, as long as you read the instructions and follow the recommendations, it's a piece of cake!

I’m a hairy faced girl that usually gets threaded (upper lip and chin) 1-2 times a month. Could easily get threaded fortnightly. Most of my hair is fluff but anything that is dark is really coarse and snaps when I get threaded so grows back really quickly. I was really dubious about this but thought give it a try, as we’re on lockdown down as well. I’ve now used it 4 times and would definitely recommend it. About every two weeks I would say, but I could probably leave a bit longer. I’ve not changed the blade yet either. Hair does not grow back coarser or darker. This has been a godsend in lockdown as we can’t leave the house and no where is open to get treatments done anyway. I’ve honestly not felt or looked hairy the whole time I’ve been using it. And I’m pretty paranoid about my facial hair. Bonus that It does make your skin lovely and soft. Only negative I would say maybe a bit pricey? does it really need to vibrate or be battery operated? there are cheaper alternatives although I’ve not tried them. I will be trying non battery ones, but maybe I’ll come back to this.

I purchased this product last year and while I thought it expensive for what it was, I was happy that it did the job (removing face hair, not so sure it does anything for your skin). However, I've not been able to get any refill blades for the past 4/5 months. That makes this a really expensive item as each blade (this kit will have 2) is only meant to be used once. If you can't see any refills for sale, don't buy this. A separate note on using this - I always kept the used blade for a couple of days so I could check the results in varying lights. If you're not in a rush to bin the blade, then you will have it to hand to deal with any hairs you might have missed the first time.

I was very concerned about dermaplaning because I worried that facial hair would grow back thicker and darker. However, I couldn’t have been more wrong. This is the second one I’ve purchased. The results are fantastic and your skin is left feeling super smooth. In fact, when I went to work my good friend asked had I had something done ha. I am very very pleased with the result. The instructions are easy to follow and using the product is very easy. I think you just have to have a few attempts of getting it on the right angle. I got a little redness after completing it. The redness does go down and was no problem for me. I like how it comes in a little pouch / bag making it a nice essential to travel with. Definitely recommend and will never be without this product. Definitely worth the money.

had some professional derma blading done a while ago as a birthday gift, which was lovely. During lockdown thought i would give this a try, I'm so glad I did it is so easy to use and the effects are fabulous, it took a little practice and you need to make sure you have the right light. my moisturizer and foundation go on and last much better, gives my skin a real glow. I must admit I have used the blade twice before disposing of, my facial hair is light and very fine so did not find this a problem. sorry beautician I wont be back but will continue to use this fab product from now on. I have recommended to friends too who have been really pleased.

I love this kit! I had been looking to try dermaplaning for a few months as I have a lot of “peach fuzz” on my face. It makes me feel really uncomfortable at times, especially when standing in sunlight. I would find myself trying to get out of the sun if I was around people. I looked into some options on trying dermaplaning, but it’s expensive in beauty salons, and the cheap blades your can buy for it look lethal! So when I saw this kit, I really wanted to give it a try! The instructions were easy to read and give good before and aftercare when using the device. It was easy to hold when I was using it, and the oil samples included in the kit gives just the right amount of oil for a nice glide. After using the device for the first time, I’d say my face feels a but sensitive, but it doesn’t feel any different to how the skin around my eye brows feel after a wax. So I know I just need to make sure to don’t tough my face much. After 5 hours since using it for the first time, My face feels calmer and less tingly! I would definitely recommend this kit to anyone who wants to give dermaplaning a try!

Initially I liked using the item as it was easy but when I looked closely i could see that the fuzz was still there. I might as well have used a razor blade to get same result as it didn't anything else like the many dermaplanes I've had done Since my face is burning I have patches of a horrible thick tar feeling on my skin which I have washed 4 times and still remains I now have a super shiny forehead which looks terrible and my face is on fire post wash! (Used dove and water nothing fancy) For my mum to turn round and say 'what on earth have you done to your face ' tells me everything!!! Do not buy this even if looking for a quick fix as now I'm left trying to fix the rest of my skin for simply trying to get rid of the fuzz! .
