I was beginning to lose hope on the hard waxing because of the apply time, pain, and overall mess that it caused. A few days ago I was scrolling Amazon and decided to see what type of waxing was available ... then I came across this. I’ve never used sugar wax before, but I knew it had to be 1000x better than heating a unit, adding wax, checking the temp, prepping skin, applying, and ripping. I was riiiight! This stuff is amazing, the mess is practically nonexistent— and it comes off with water it there is some residue. I used this with the MOOM reusable strips and WOW!!! You just hand wash them with water and it easily comes off as well... I left them to air dry (which the do fairly quickly) and clean up was done! I practiced on my husband since I waxed about two weeks ago and didn’t have enough hair. The removal was painless (he stated this) and as you can see from the amount of hair he has—- it came off soooo well and it’s very smooth. I actually look forward to sugar waxing my whole body! If you’re thinking about doing it, go for it. I’ve never used sugar before and it was super easy. Yes it is a bit sticky, but if you’re just applying to the skin there should be no mess. I’m not completely sure why others are saying it’s messy— bead wax is hell compared to this. I’m never going back to it! Heat for 10 seconds at a time, use a thick popsicle stick to layer, apply reusable strip, and let ‘er rip! I wanted to try this brand because of it being organic and it comes in glass - seemed high end! But it is too thin of a consistency for sugaring. I have a previous brand of sugaring I used several bottles of before coming to this that I can simply scoop out with a spoon and then use my hands to spread on underarms and bikini (what I do), But it is firm enough that it doesn’t stick bad until it gets too warm. It’s been good enough. I will likely go back. I understand this brand will probably work with some wax strips, which is what they recommend, so I may try that and use the rest of this, but it’s just one more extra expense to the process that was working just fine before. Sugaring in a salon will use their hands, not wax strips, so I got used to that. Sad about the outcome.

I’ll admit I didn’t read reviews before buying this, just looked at the star rating and thought cool that works. Leaving a video review of use hoping that I can help the girlies out who are looking for sugar dough. I understand my leg hair is gross, that’s the point of the sugar, get over it I hadn’t shaved for probably 4 months. So this to me feels like a sugar/wax hybrid. You still need something to stick to the formula to peel it off so in that aspect it’s like a wax, but it doesn’t need to be heated, washes off easily, and can be reused for multiple areas like sugar dough. It is extremely sticky and feels pretty much like honey, and it is so sticky that one little piece can go a long way picking up hair on new areas again and again. Hopefully y’all notice in the video but I can use a small bit of wax on almost a whole shin. I love it a million times more than waxing, which I’ve done at home many times. I just felt really stupid at first going in with my hand and trying to roll it in a ball with my hand’s body heat to be a sugar dough ball. I also was super cocky thinking I could handle a sugar dough ball and didn’t buy the ‘wax strips’ because I thought they were optional. Turns out wax paper from the kitchen works fine, but again this product is very misleading with the name but also the ingredients listed, I’m still puzzled as to why the wax strips are necessary. Maybe I don’t know as much about sugaring as I thought, although I’ve gone and had it done professionally a handful of times. In the end it works great, but I think the package should come with sticks and strips so a buyer has everything they need and the name should just be natural wax or something to that effect. Easy to use once I changed my view to the product being wax. I was able to wax one handed while holding the video. I could wash my hands with soap and water halfway through and the wax came right off with zero scrubbing. Maybe this product is better than typical sugar because it’s stickier and picks up more.

So it’s my first time sugaring, I saw an ad for sugar me smooth and wanted to try it out. I stumbled across this one, conveniently the cheaper option out there. There were a lot of reviews claiming that it had broken or leaked etc. but personally, the item came in pristine condition (as seen in the video). I will say that it is possible it could have been broken if mishandled since it only comes in this in your typical Amazon box (speaking from my experience). It was not taped down, the plastic didn’t look too new but overall it gave a good first appearance. I’m Latina, meaning that when my hair grows, it grows THICK. Thick and coarse, especially in my underarms and face. So here’s a couple pieces of advice I would give from my experience: -if you have very thick hair, it’ll be a bit challenging My hair is thick (as mentioned previously) and I know that over time with sugaring it will get finer but beginning is hard. I had to go in over again because it would not get my hair the first time -you do not need to buy the fabric strips Personally, that’s a bit much considering the price. I used some old cotton fabric scraps I had lying around and they worked about the same for me. -the solution can be sticky and runny This formula is undercooked I believe, so if you (like me) were hoping to use your hand or a flicker l, you will be disappointed. This sugar can warm up in the palm or fingertip of your hand VERY quickly. This formula is made solely to use with fabric sheets. -would work best for legs Again, with thick hair this is difficult. But this works best with your legs. The whole container might last 2-4 times depending on how thick your hair is For the price, it’s decent and beginner friendly enough. Would not recommend if you want to use the hand/flicker method or if you want to use it for your thick hair in difficult to reach places (bikini, underarm, sideburns etc.) Next time, I think I’ll try a formula that’s thicker and more “cooked”, if you will, next time Not my cup of tea but it got the job done for now

I used to go to sugar parties a few years ago, but obviously these are not happening right now, and I was looking for a product to try doing it on my own. I loved the simple organic ingredients for this one. (note: don't eat it. I kinda wanted to lick it off my fingers (is that gross? lol), but tea tree oil is a poison when ingested even if all the other ingredients are 100% edible). The consistency is like honey when you warm it up, and it was hard for me to imagine that honey could take my hair off, but boy did it! I'm convinced, however, that technique and using the right strips have as much to do with its success as anything. First of all, you have to have long enough hair to pull- If the hairs are too short, it's not going to be able to yank them out. I did this on my arms. I warmed it in the microwave for 10-20 seconds which was the perfect temp for me. Then I used a butterknife to apply which I liked better than the disposable pop-sickle sticks. I applied each time in the opposite direction of my hair growth and then patted down a Moom polycotton waxing strip on top of it and would sorta gently rub it/pet it down for a few seconds to really allow the strip to fuse to the goop. Then I'd take a deep breath and RIP THAT SUCKER off as FAST as absolutely possible in the opposite direction of the hair growth. If I got lazy and didn't rip fast enough, it wouldn't really work. Sometimes I could use the same used strip with all the goop already on it and then pat it down on a different area and could still successfully rip the hairs off. The results were STUNNING! Worked a little too good actually... I kinda felt naked after all my arm hair was gone. I didn't like having hairy arms, but now I'm still deciding how I feel about bald arms... haha. The clean up was super easy too. Because it's mostly just sugar, it melts right off in warm water. I actually got a large pot and heated some water and stuck all the used strips in there to melt off the goop then pulled them out and ran them under the tap to rinse them well and hung them up to dry. It's really great to know that I can do this all by myself more cheaply and easily than I imagined. So to summarize: Great product, you MUST have long enough hairs, technique is CRUCIAL, and I highly recommend the Moom strips because I'm convinced this fabric grabs the goop better than others (plus you get a ton of them in the package and they will last you forever). I love this so much. My friend put me on to this. Since then, I wax my underarms at home. It is so easy to clean, use and saves a lot of money in the long run. It lasts me several months. Definitely worth the buy.

For being and organic wax, it's good! On the other hand ladies, if you have long legs, this is a waste of your money. I used 3/4 of the jar just doing my legs (yes I did small amounts and made sure not to over use, I am 6 foot 3, and mainly legs) To all my tall ladies, don't waste your money. Go find something cheaper.

Didn’t work…. Total wastage of money as this product is non-refundable. Tried many ways to get it work but didn’t able to take out even a single hair… think before buying…..

This was recommended to me by a friend and she spoke highly of it so I was eager to try it. Melting of the wax in the microwave was fine, easy even. But it started to harden after the 3rd strip and required me to re-microwave it multiple times throughout waxing my legs. It was highly inconvenient and after trying it 2 more times, I just gave up because it wasnt worth my hassel.. I didnt' feel like waxing my body in the kitchen since I had to reheat the wax every 3 minutes

I have been using this product for years. It is absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, this time it arrived with the lid cracked.

I do like the product and am a fan of sugar wax. You need strips for this an would purchase a firmer wax/paste the next time to avoid the strips. I found it doesn't work as well on fine hairs with this texture.

Worst wax purchased ever . Thought it’s organic but it gave the bumps like drops with lot of itchiness . whereas applied . Then took medicine to get relief .. very pricey and not at all recommended . Rest all your choice
