I use this with a diamabrush mastic removal tool for the edges. It runs slowly enough not to sling water all over the place. Got the job done. Manufacturer may frown on using it for this.☹️

I love this buffer. The only problem is a fully charged battery only lasts about 10 min so have back up batteries ready to go . Much better to work with at this at our professional body shop.
