You are correct, the ad says 2-6 players but there are only 4 racks for tiles. We decided to keep it anyway even though we wanted a 6 player version as well.

Does the set come 2 level or 3 level tile holders? Both are pictured.

Can I buy replacement parts for an older rummikub? Not sure how old it is, but one of the little post broke off on the tile stand. ?

I don’t think I have ever seen individual game parts for sale. Might be more practical to buy a new set or make one out of a piece of wood? Or glue the old one together?
