Step N Store, Step Stool Tool Box 20"

I was in a Publix parking lot heading to my car and saw a woman carrying one of these toward the store. I stopped her and asked her about the box she was carrying. She was heading into the grocery to do some work. She was some kind of tradesman. She said she had this box for about 10 years and it was sturdy and worked fine. The hinges and carrying handle and the closing clasp had worked faithfully for all those years. I felt so good about our conversation that when I got into my car, I immediately pulled up Amazon on my phone, found this toolbox/stool/step, and ordered it. It came in a few days. It is sturdily made. You can put tools or cleaning supplies in the deep storage compartment. You can sit on the stool for doing low work, but you can also step on & stand on it to help change a light bulb, or reach something on a high shelf. This is a great tool to have.

This was a great investment. I am using it at work since a lot of my work is higher up and the stool has been fantastic, plus it holds the tools I need. Definitely worth the money.

These are used and abused at my job, bonus that they're made in USA cuz we love to buy things that may help a fellow American, BUT... these are nice enough that I'd buy it for my wife no matter where it was made. This will replace a cheap stepladder that I don't trust plus it has a nice tray with storage below. Considering the use they get at work and the condition they're still in; I expect ours will outlast us and be fought over by the kids when we're gone. They have a green version also. Wanted to add that there's just something different about good plastic. It's strong but not brittle. I'm not a plastic expert so I can't explain it but these will take a hit and not shatter. Anyway, if you're looking for a step-n-store that will probably last a lifetime, this is the one for you.

Can't live without my Step n Store- Back Saver working in low spots. Use it everyday to manage the refrigerator. Very Sturdy. Planning to by another for the garage.

Good product, last one lasted 10 years

We like this product for several reasons. The capacity fits all of our household tools well. The box is made of durable material that allows it to be a small step stool for getting into low shelves. The shape helps in storing it out of the way in an over-full closet. The only improvement I would suggest is the possibility of a second shelf that would fit below the existing one.
