Extremely helpful
As someone who has ulnar impact syndrome and a TFCC tear, this wrist widget has helped me a lot. I’ve been wearing it almost two months and while I still need surgery to repair the damage, this brace has helped me get back to normal life. It has helped with stability where I don’t have any anymore. I can lift things and use my wrist almost like I used to. Easy to wash in the washing machine and it air drys well. My wrist is pretty small and it fits well. It was easy to figure out how to put on correctly. For the first week or so I slept with the brace on because I was hurting so much so it’s not uncomfortable. Now I have funny looking tan marks on my wrist. I also want to note that this compresses your wrist where it should and where a hand brace can’t. A hand brace is tight around the hand and farther up the arm. And this lets my hand be free and able to grip things where a brace stops you.

My Dr recommended this brace, really helps!
Works well! Better than I thought it would. Went to this after wearing a splint for a month for a old injury I never let fully heal according to the Dr. He recommended this wrist brace, gave me a copy of the amazon info even. He's a great Dr so this must be an excellent brace! I like it, less intrusive to my daily routine than the brace and still supports my wrist no matter what job I'm doing.

Very helpful, but velcro closures need improvement....they fail after a few weeks
This really helped heal my TFCC injury. Pretty remarkable actually. Much more affordable than lots of Dr. visits and lots of PT. It is expensive for a little piece of material, can't cost them more than $1 to make them. But, be aware, the velcro begins to fail after 2-3 weeks of use. It seems for an item this expensive for what it is, the closures could be improved in design and manufacturing quite easily to greatly improve this product.

Effective wrist brace
Very effective for arthritic wrist pain. I wear it now at night and awaken with no tingling and numbness. Stays in place, can wear watch over it—-very pleased

Helped my ECU tendon injury
I almost threw this in the trash when I received it, but I'm glad I didn't. Once I figured it out (instructions lacking), it provides relief during work and sleep. I have an ECU tendon injury and this is exactly what I needed. I wear it for long periods of time without realizing it. I can adjust how tight it is and the positioning the head of my ulna; it stays in place and isn't overly thick, so I'm able to wear it during a variety of activities (lifting weights, sleeping, working, etc.).

Healed My Rock Climbing Wrist Injury
I was hesitant at first when I saw this product. I rock climb indoors pretty often and injured my wrist on a route I was working on. A few days later, one of my friends at the gym had one of these and let me try it out and it helped a lot. I immediately went and bought my own and wore it for everything requiring my wrist (basketball, pickleball, climbing, weight lifting, work, etc.) for a few weeks until it healed. I don’t know how such a simple product can make such a difference but this was such a great purchase. Being able to continue being active while actually healing my wrist was amazing. Make sure that your injury is able to be helped by this first but if it is, I recommend this so much.

Fit and feel
Not exactly what I thought it would be. Works decent in a pinch but uncomfortable and cheap feeling for price.

Scratchy but effective
Very effective, maybe a little too much. My arm and fingers began to hurt after a while of doing activities since my wrist had actual support now and they had to overwork, but after a week they got better. The widget IS made of the same velcro material that cable wraps are but its much thicker. The side that goes on your wrist is tough and scratchy and theres no good reason why it shouldn't be more comfortable. Still, for its low profile and weight and being more effective than any other wrist support I've used I say give it a shot if u can afford it

I have suffered from RSI related pain on the thumb side of both wrists for more than 20 years, but about 18 months ago I experienced a really sharp pain on the ulna side of my left wrist (when turning a door handle that I didn't realise had been tightened!!). I strapped it up with one of my many wrist supports I already had and rested it as much as possible. The pain pretty much went away, but a few months later I experienced exactly the same pain (this time from turning he shower knob!!). Out came the variety of wrist supports again for another couple of months. Pain lessened, but never went. Twisted it again on the shower knob a couple of months later! Did some research then about ulna sided pain and came across the wrist widget. (you may ask at this point why I didn't visit my doctor, but that's a long story involving many years of frustration...). Thought I'd give it a try, even though it was a bit pricey Well, at first the pain worsened for a couple of weeks, but then there was a low but noticeable improvement. I wore it 24/7 (either just got it wet in the shower, or wore a plastic bag over my arm. Didn't want to risk the shower knob without it on!!) After a few months I would say the pain had pretty much totally gone. It was at this point I realised I'd actually been wearing the thing the wrong way up for all those months!! The instructions are basic to say the least, and even after watching the videos of how to put it on I has somehow been getting it wrong. I had the harder side against my skin, and the softer side outwards. Ok, I know that seems daft, but it seemed to follow the pictures...I was wearing some "underlay" underneath to stop it scratching too much. So then I started wearing it the right way round, just for security really as the pain was pretty much gone (with the other issues I have with my wrists. it was hard to tell definitively which bit was hurting...). After about 6/7 months I weaned myself off it, and went cold turkey with no strapping. This lasted a glorious couple of months, then some pain came back, not really sure what caused it, thumb or ulna side, so went back to some general strapping. A year on from buying it, I am back wearing it again, but again it is really just for security. Having had 20 years of RSI issues, it kinda feels weird not having strapping on, so I'd rather wear a small inconspicuous thing like this and feel happy. I can report it is still going strong, not too tatty, velcro still holding. Wear it 24/7 EXCEPT in the shower - I am now braving turning the knob very carefully! So although £20 something sounds a lot, I have had my money's worth I think!
