ASP Red Gun Replica for Training and Practice with Martial Arts, Defense, Props, Tactical, Law Enforcement, and Military

This "ASP S&W J Frame Red Gun Training Series" is an excellent classroom aid for teaching proper handling of firearms. We teach both children and adult firearm safety classes but have a strict "No Live Firearms" policy in the training rooms, so this give us the capability to demonstrate safety issues without the possibility of mistaking it for a "real" gun. Great training aid. Very strong can take a beating and still preform. Same dimension as the real thing so fits in your holster.

The actual product is good but this is not a P2022. This is a model of a P250 so if you're buying this to make holsters then look somewhere else.

Original Review: Great details and great weight, perfect for training. Train with weighted Red guns. I would buy non-weighted guns for retention drills, don't want to drop it on someones foot. Updated Review: I have updated and dropped the star rating on this as I was able to handle an actual USP .45 Compact. The red gun USP compact .45's (that I received) grip was significantly of less girth than the actual pistol, it was even of less girth than the .40 cal version of the same gun. I found this to be disappointing.

This item is a great training weapon. It is a lot lighter than an actual firearm but for training purposes it certainly does its job. I am a police explorer and it fits perfectly in my Beretta holster. Too bad it's so expensive.

This is my second ASP red gun and I'm even more impressed with this one than with the first ( ASP H&K P2000 ), which looked a little wonky. This is a great cast and a faithful reproduction. It's heavy and durable and will take unbelievable amounts of abuse. Edges are sharp and lines are mostly straight. The two sides of the cast don't quite line up, but that's just me being picky. If you're using this for training, you won't care. If you're using it as the base for a project, as I am, you'll find that it responds well to sanding and filling. I use ASP products at work and I use them at home. Quality stuff.

These are the best training guns out there. They make it possible to practice drawing and sighting without any fear of damaging a live weapon or an accidental discharge. They are also great for retention and disarm training.

I bought this trainer because it's a replica of the PX4 storm that I own. I also just went through a seminar of unarmed defense against a gun attack and this trainer came in very handy. This is good quality and feels good in the hand.

die Verarbeitung lässt teilweise zu wünschen übrig, jedoch ist das leider bei Red und Blueguns oftmals als normal einzustufen. Jedoch passt die Redgun nicht in mein Blackhawk Holster, was dazu führt, dass ich diese nicht verwenden kann. --> Rücksendung
