GE 24‑Hour Plug-in Mechanical Timer Outlet, 2 Grounded Outlets, 2 Pack

I just replaced my 5 yr old GE timer for my heated towel rack because it was getting a bit loud. This new GE timer is so quiet I didn’t think it was on. Sleek and so far completely silent. Installed in seconds.

This worked very well for a heat lamp in my shop this winter. I had 7 kittens that were too young to be out in the cold. I also have heat down there, but I used the heat lamp at night to give an extra warm spot to sleep. It worked great all winter. It is very easy to use. I prefer this over the digital type. These seem more durable. They are definitely easier to program and operate. The price was right, so I bought the 2 pack. I may never need 2, but I'd rather have an extra and not need it, than not have an extra and need it. I highly recommend this timer.

These work great, bought them initially for my outdoor xmas lights and indoor xmas tree lights. Took a bit to figure out how they work, opposite of how I thought they should. The pegs are easy to push and pull out based on the time you want set. Been using one since xmas on my outdoor balcony lights, they work great and easy to adjust once you know how, was probably more me then the directions at first. But for 7 months been working daily without an issue. Definitely happy with these timer units. Certainly beats turning lights off by hand every day, especially nice for the xmas tree, not having to reach under each evening to pull the plug out. Same for my balcony lights. Actually bought a set for a neighbor as well, and they love them.

We used this timer outlet for our Christmas lights. We set it to turn on from 6:30 PM to 12:00 AM and it worked very well. The installation was very easy. This is convenient and energy efficiency.

Really good quality very accurate. I do not notice the noise from the equipment and these are very nice and blended with furniture and appliances hardly noticeable.

These timers are easy to set with the 30 minute intervals, the manual override switch is handy when needed, and having two grounded outlets per timer is convenient. Four in the pack covered lighting around the house and outside.

Basically my headline says it all. Nothing complicated whatsoever about these. They seem to work really well and build quality is much better than I expected for an inexpensive plastic thingy . These run virtually silent except for the moments when switches are engaged.
