Actually Works, No Harsh Chemicals, and Safe Near Food
I’ve tried all kinds of DIY traps and gimmicky sprays for fruit flies, but this is the only product that’s worked quickly, cleanly, and reliably—and I’m never going back. 🍎 Instant Results Within Hours As shown on page 3 of the listing, FlyPunch! is a powerful attractant designed specifically for fruit flies—and it absolutely delivers. I popped open a bottle and left it near my compost bin and fruit bowl. Within hours, I could see it working. By day two, the fly population had noticeably dropped. 🌿 Safe, Plant-Based Ingredients According to the product description (page 1), it’s made with plant-based ingredients, contains no harsh chemicals, and is safe to use in kitchens. That’s a major bonus if you have kids or pets around, or if you just don’t want toxic fumes near your produce. 🫙 So Simple to Use There’s zero setup. Just flip the lid, place it down, and let it do its thing. Each bottle lasts up to 30 days (page 1), and the 3-pack gives you plenty of coverage for multiple problem spots—sink, fruit bowl, garbage can, etc. 🏠 Perfect for Everyday Use The packaging shows it being used in real kitchens and food prep stations (page 3), and I can confirm it works great in high-traffic or humid areas. I’ve even recommended it to coworkers dealing with office breakroom fly issues. ✅ Pros: Works fast and consistently Non-toxic, food-safe ingredients No setup or mixing required Each bottle lasts weeks ❌ Cons: Has a bit of a vinegar scent when first opened (but fades quickly) Overall: This is a no-brainer if fruit flies are invading your space. It’s safe, natural, and actually effective. I always keep a pack on hand during warmer months—it’s now a staple in my home.

If it doesn't work for you it's very likely you have PHORID flies, often confused with fruit flies. Phorid flies have BLACK eyes
I'm giving this five stars because while it didn't catch anything technically, it was my fault for that, not the product because I confused the flies I had which are PHORID FLIES with Fruit Flies. And I have this product partly to thank for helping lead me in the right direction about that. I see others sharing photos with maybe hundred of flies caught but I didn't even catch one after a day so that told me something was wrong on my end, not the product. And I just recently found out that PHORID FLIES (what you guys probably have that this isn't working for) have BLACK EYES and FRUIT FLIES have RED EYES. These two flies look very similar with the only difference being probably their eye color but this is very important because it can save you from wasting a lot of money on fruit fly traps like I did thinking that's what they are when it's something else. In my case they're phorid flies. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone with ANY sort of fly issue whatsoever, no matter the species, big or small flies, to purchase the LiBa Bug Zapper here: Bug Zapper & Electric Indoor Insect Killer by LiBa - Mosquito, Bug, Fly & Other Pests Killer - Powerful 2800V Grid 20W Bulbs - Free 2-Pack Replacement Bulbs Included - Indoor Use Only I actually purchased both the Aunt Fannie's Fruit Fly Trap AND the LiBa bug zapper and put them next to each other to see which would perform better and the LiBa Bug Zapper was killing the flies every couple of minutes while I caught nothing with the Aunt Fannies Fruit Fly trap. But again this is nothing against Aunt Fannies Fruit Fly Trap, it was just me not identifying which species of fly I had infesting my home and trying to use a fruit fly trap when I had phorid flies so naturally they weren't attracted to it. But the LiBa bug zapper just kills ALL the flying insects period so just make the $35 investment that will be there to deal with all your indoor flying insect problems not just for now but for years to come.

So disappointed! No longer recommend. Seller never responded.
FRUIT FLY SEASON IS RAPIDLY APPROACHING AND I'M DETERMINED TO PREVENT LAST SUMMER'S INFESTATION. Update : I contacted the company multiple ways and multiple times. Amazon and the company totally ignored my legitimate complaint. Obviously they don't care about their customers dissatisfaction. It's not about the money - it's about blatant misrepresentation and unethical behavior displayed by both companies. I couldn't even get Amazon to include the "frequently returned" box on the item's page. I bought three bottles of auntie's product on Amazon 6 days ago to replace my DIY liquid attractant of appl cider vinegar +brown sugar +dish detergent. It's been 5 days and can confirm the other negative reviews that the product CAN'T contain the same liquid attractant - the fruit flies feed on the liquid and are not trapped - they can fly away!!! I unintentionally performed a side by side experiment using this WORTHLESS product against my attractant. Both liquids were placed next to separate hanging cylinders of bright yellow sticky fly paper. I actually watched the flies fly from the auntie's product into my liquid. Unlike the auntie product, any flies that were not trapped in my DIY liquid were trapped in the fly paper. After 5 days I had to replace the fly paper adjacent to DIY liquid. in contrast, the 3 bottles of Auntie containing who knows what had A TOTAL OF LESS THAN 20 IN THE BOTTLES AND ABOUT 10 TO 20 TRAPPED BY THE FLY PAPER. I am so angry about wasting money on products from Amazon with good reviews. This product has overall rating of 3.8. But that rating is CUMULATIVE - The much older reviews are generally positive compared to more current negative reviews. I conclude this is due to a change in formulation that neither amazon or the seller made clear. I was so pleased that Good Housekeeping had recommended the best way to eliminates fruit fly infestations in a recent article. The GH panel incorrectly included this product as the only commercially effective liquid attractant since it contained malic acid as part of the formulation. The FRUIT FLY SEASON article made me remember that I had used Aunties successfully a few summers ago and loved their esthetics and effectiveness. I already emailed a request for them to provide evidence of its effectiveness using a recent bottle. I am requesting a refund from this seller based on my results and will update the status with both responses. Meanwhile if you are battling with fruit flies, infestations made worse by the higher temperature (I live in Connecticut) in the Northeast, read below. First understand that you must use the following steps throughout the fruit fly lifecycle (over several weeks so that the original fruit flies are trapped as well as the their progeny hatched from the hundreds of larvae deposited on whatever they fed on. {I am a biochemist and patent attorney so I needed to know what was going on}. Keep in mind for DIY solutions or other traps that you must attract and rid them from escaping. Otherwise you'll have dead flies near and flying around the attractant. A single fruit fly will deposit hundreds of larvae on fruit and vegetables and existing food sources. Follow these steps : 1. Clean all surfaces daily with your typical all purpose cleaner (I use Fantastic with bleach) wherever you find these annoying bugs. For us this is primarily the kitchen in addition to the bathroom and TV room. REMEMBER THEY ARE ATTRACTED TO LIGHT AND 1 FLY WILL DEPOSIT EGGS THAT MATURE IN about 5 to7 DAYS. 2. Unfortunately surface cleaning every 1-2 days is necessary to eliminate flying flies you see and larva that will hatch that you can't. 3. Immediately thoroughly wash all fruit and vegetables (existing or new) and refrigerate. 4. Eliminate All food debris from kitchen counters, microwave, garbage cans, toaster oven, pet water and food bowls, etc. and keep everything covered or washed like used knives, glassware and plates. 5. If you think this is drastic like I did, then you will see an infestation that feels as if those little things won... 6. in the article, Good housekeeping recommended this product as using malic acid which is found in apple cider vinegar. It was part of discussion on using a DIY solution see ingredients above. Any solution must also contain a detergent which causes the flies eating on the attractant liguid to sink in the solution. They can't fly away and begin a new cycle of depositing eggs. At the beginning of the infestation I used the ingredients above along with standing/hanging yellow sticky fly paper I also bought from Amazon. I am very frustrated that I didn't do the research and work upfront instead of wasting money trying to find the non-existent magic bullet all summer!! As much as I love tasty vine ripened tomatoes and other summer fruit and vegetables, it's just not worth it. I think the high temperatures in July throughout the North East as well as nationaly/globally contributed to the problem experienced by me and almost everyone I know.

Place it amongst your produce!
Once I put it inside the basket of produce it started working. It did nothing sitting next to it. But being nestled in is working! Also sorta ensures it won’t be knocked over!

BEST FRUIT FLY TRAP ON THE MARKET! Not a single fruit fly left in my house thanks to these!
I’m not usually one to leave reviews on things I buy, but if any product deserves one, it’s Aunt Fannie’s fruit fly trap. I would personally thank Aunt Fannie herself if I could because this fruit fly trap she cooked up is the only thing that has liberated me from these tiny, sweet tooth- having insects year after year. My only regret is not writing this review much much sooner! For context, every year for the past 3 years the flies make their return like clockwork. It starts out with only a few, but I have trouble with executive functioning so my house can become… less than spotless. (Ironically, this review is brought to you by me procrastinating cleaning my house). And despite my better judgement, I slack off on disposing of their favorite snacks and give them prime real estate to move in and start a family of, ohhh I don’t know, hundreds? Thousands? Idk but there’s enough of them where this is their home now and I am merely a guest. When I finally reach my wits’ end, I call upon Amazon to deliver to me this magical concoction Aunt Fannie has blessed us with. And every year without fail, I’m able to evict (from earth, permanently) the minuscule trespassers. Aunt Fannie needs to keep her fly trap recipe locked up tighter than Mr. Krabs’ keeps the Krabby Patty secret formula, because it is perfection. 10/10, 5 stars, no notes. Others may have qualms about the pungent smell the traps give off, but I honestly only really smell them right when I first open them or if I’m in like a 3 foot radius of them. If you have ever cooked with apple cider vinegar, you’ll fare just fine. I mean really, would you actually prefer to give up eliminating the fruit flies from your house just to avoid taking a single big whiff of some ACV? Seriously, unless my sniffer’s gone bad, you’ll be fine if you put it literally anywhere else besides 10 inches from your face on your nightstand. I could just be lucky, but I have yet to receive them anything but bone dry, no leaks. Even if it did come leaky, unless they’re completely out of juice, why not just dry it off and wash your hands, no? Ah well, different strokes for different folks after all. Anyways, Aunt Fannie, you are now an honorary part of my family now and forever for saving me from the wrath of the fruit flies with your traps. In all seriousness, this product has been miles more effective than any other fruit fly elimination product, I can’t recommend it enough (clearly). Well, I guess the review’s over now and I have to get back to cleaning (ugh). I wish you good luck in your quest for victory, fellow fruit fly sufferers. Aunt Fannie and her fruit fly traps are your ticket to the finish line!

Meh
This stuff worked okay. Maybe some batches are better than others. I bought the two-pack and one seemed to attract a lot of gnats while the other caught very few gnats. I tried switching the placement to see if that helped but it didn’t seem to make much difference. It’s very easy to use-just open the package, flip open the lid and it’s ready to go. I’ve made a similar mixture before with comparable results so I probably won’t buy this again.

✅ works like a charm
✅ easy to use . Just open and put near doors and sinks ✅. Very effective as it catches all the fruit flies as soon as you open it ✅ very durable as one treatment last me 3 months a bottle before I have to throw it away ✅the size of the bottle is roughly 5-6 inches and fitness in the palm of your hands. ✅ the appearance is not bad as well. You can see the flies at the bottom of the treatment. ✅. When fruit flies goes in, they do not come out so it is very sticky 😑 The smell is strong if you get to close. So be careful. ✅very effective product and works immediately

This WORKS!
Apartments and fruit flies are a combination for disaster. We were able to kill a few on our own but then more would appear. I went to move dish in the sink and five of them flew up and out. It was awful. I tried making my own trap but I must've added too much dishsoap/water because it didn't work. Desperate, I bought this and immediately set it up near the sink. We were gone for one weekend and we came back to a like a dozen fruit flies floating in it! And over the week, we saw some flies sitting on the rim. Two weeks later, there's at least 30 dead and drowned. This WORKS! I do like that you can store these away until you need them. My one complaint is the 30 days claim. It's honestly good for about 2 weeks, then loses the strong smell. But we've already ordered more! I also wouldn't say this is the ultimate solution. We've been also running dish detergent and hot water down the drain to fend them off. Be vigilant about cleaning your drain/dishwasher!!

Happy customer
Thought was a little pricey for what it is but it was so worth the money. Have recommended it to family and friends will definitely use again if needed. Had fruit flies in a bedroom and kitchen and within 2 days they were gone and there was loads of them. Definitely use this product you won't be disappointed

Useless vinegar in a bottle trap.
This is effectively vinegar in a plastic container. You could make your own for around £1 and it would be more effective . The container is not even shaped to trap them. They fly around it but not in it. This seems to attract flies but it doesn’t trap or kill any….not a single one. Using your own trap is better. Please don’t waste your money … this is just an expensive rip off and doesn’t work.

Amazing!
I loved this! I had so many of these horrid tiny flies flying around my fruit. Decided to get this. It isn’t cheap but it sure well does the job. I’d say in 48 hours I caught 20 plus in there. Thanks Aunt Fannie

Initially trapped and killed fruit flies but quickly lost its potency

Fruit flies are gone!
This really works! I don’t know how I got a fruit fly problem, but this stuff sorted it out. It doesn’t smell very nice, but a small price to pay.
