4-Tier Rustic Bookshelf

Very nice unit. My box had a lot of shipping damage. But luckily, everything inside was fine. I put it together easily by myself. It was a lot of screws. But that’s why it is such a solid unit when fully built. The metal frame was high quality. All the wood fit perfectly and assembly was easy. I only made one mistake. They included a small screwdriver with the parts. I, being the a typical guy, decided my screwdrivers must be better and started using one of my own. DON’T! The screw driver they included had a head that was designed specifically to fit ALL the screw heads in the entire kit. Use it! I was really impressed by that level of attention to detail. I’ve built a lot of these type of units and the fit for everything in this unit was exceptional. My wife was asking me why no cursing through the entire build. It was a pleasure to build something where there is no “wrong” way and every hole lined up perfectly with the screw you are trying to input into. The end result was a super solid, nice looking bookshelf, perfect for the space I needed it in.

After reading all the reviews I was slightly worried about tolerances of milling and the metalwork. Yes the instructions aren’t Ikea level but all the parts are numbered and all screws are labeled. They even give you an extra screw of every kind. As long as you look at the next image and see where the boards are going it will make sense. If you expect to just go step by step some of the boards will get reversed. Just like life look ahead before you do. Otherwise tolerances are actually all really good considering price. No issues with any of the screws. Definitely use a power drill. A screwdriver would be painful to use. Took about an hour. The screws like all these budget mass produced overseas furniture strip easy so be careful. It’s sturdy, about 70lbs I would feel fine loading it up with books and such. Looks good. Laminate overall in decent condition. Some boards have some peeling with rough cuts. Pretty solid for the price overall. Visually pleasing.

This is the second piece of Tribesigns furniture that I have bought. Both pieces are sturdy and very nice. The ONLY reason that I gave it 4 stars is that one back corner of one of the drawer sides was damaged. It's in the back and cannot be seen so I didn't ask for a replacement. Assembled myself in about an hour. Will purchase this brand again!!

This was easy to put together, though I made a couple of mistakes and had to disassemble what I'd done and start over. The styrofoam packing breaks apart easily, so be prepared for little pieces of foam everywhere. Love the metal stand so I can use magnets. Did have some trouble getting the drawers aligned so they would slide in. This is a sturdy bookcase, yet light enough to move. The 'feet' are made so that you can easily slide the furniture on carpeting. This was a great addition to my home office. It is a good looking piece of furniture.

I was quite concerned when I saw the shape of the box... I'm happy to report that all parts were protected by styrofoam... All parts were present & I LOVE the look of TribeSigns furniture, this is my 2nd piece I bought. I have a customer suggestion, PLEASE consider creating BETTER easier to understand instructions... It's together now, & I'd point out this is about the 50th thing I've built in my life, so I usually get it, but the diagrams are very confusing, & did not seem to fit & it ended up being a put it together n take it apart twice because these diagrams were not CLEAR on how pieces go together. As I said, I'm very happy with the furniture itself...

I was hesitant about putting this together, but it took me an hour to do so, if you follow the directions you should be able to put together, some things weren't too clear until you put it together and realize that it was supposed to be backwards. Either way, I put some LED lights behind it and not it's on my kitchen replacing an ugly clunker I had before.

Ordered two of these. Looks nice. Unfortunately some of the hardware was stripped (one of the drawer handles) and had several dents on the tubing for the main frame. Can’t see it from all the way across the room......but it’s definitely noticeable. Disappointing considering the price. Wasn’t too difficult to put together. Looks nice (other than the dented frame) and is sturdy. Solid 3/5. Would give higher if it wasn’t damaged.

Took a second person to balance some parts as I assembled it. It could have done it alone if I had brought something to prop it up 2 feet off the ground. But a second person helps to help keep seams and parts leveled as you go. After assembly, lifting it to another room was extremely satisfying. It does not wobble or tilt at all as you lift it. I used this as an audio rack. Seems perfect with lots of space for air flow so things don't get chocked up by heat. The wood is mechanically pressed wood with a veneer layer on top of the surfaces. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the end result. No idea about longevity, but the fact I can lift it and it does not wobble is amazingly confident inducing.

Really love this cabinet it looks wonderful. Rating would be a 5 except feet were missing. Company did send some and keep in touch it took a month from the factory in China
