So far so good…I have 15 month old twins and these are surviving and so am I! Speech therapist recommended munchkin which we used for a while and found they don’t last and yes, I know they must click (blah blah..) however, getting them to click especially after several uses and washes (not in the dishwasher) will absolutely send you! Especially, if your kids are crying at your feet because they want their water and the **** thing just won’t click! Anyways, if you find yourself in munchkin cup meltdown or that the Dr. Brown’s weighted straw just won’t work..then these are for you!!! Honestly, I’m all seriousness just save yourself a lot of time and headache and get these.

I love them, but don't think they will last until your little breaks them. The straws get damaged often. I am in my 4th and 5th straw replacement package; I said 4-5 because I ordered extras since I know I will need it anyway. It does not leak unless you put anything too cold or carbonated.

My top essential features for a sippy straw bottle for my 14 month old was #1 it needs to be leak proof. Which this sippy has proved to be! Took his sippy along during our playground outing and anywhere he left his cup at, there wasn’t any milk leaking from it, even after we came home and he would leave on the bed, no leakage! Then #2 Must be easy to clean with minimal parts. When I take it apart to clean (lid & straw itself) only two parts need to be cleaned at the end of the day. It was easy to take them apart and place them back in- however I wasn’t too sure if to pull the weighted part off from the flexible straw, I decided not to, so it seems to me that the pieces (weight & flex straw) would be difficult to put back on because it has a tight seal when I pull at it . I also purchased the recommended straw cleaner “keys” for this brand bottle and that was nice to have on hand to get the job done. My last feature for a sippy right for us is #4 Lid that is built in. I lose bottle lids all the time so when my little man was ready for a sippy, I wanted a lid that wasn’t separate from the cup. which this sippy is just right for us, the lid easily snaps close when he’s no longer using his sippy during the day and it stays snapped in so that he also doesn’t play with his sippy. Overall I am glad to have give this sippy straw a try. the weighted feature at the end of the flexible part of the straw is a bonus feature for us. He can lay down and drink his sippy without fussing that it either spills or that he can’t get his drink out from a laying position or side position. the weight definitely does it’s job in always keeping the flexible straw positioned to where it needs to be for the milk or juice to get to my baby’s thirst quenched :). Like I mentioned before, if the bottle gets washed at the end of its use or end of day, you only really need to separate the lid & pull out the straw from the lid to clean it. two pieces to clean! if your a mom that collects bottles in the sink from several nights, there probably will be build up around the silicone ring seal that’s within the rings of the bottle lid. Also being a full time glass bottle type of mom and transitioning to a non glass bottle, anyone who collects bottles from several nights will also deal with residue smell and the bottle itself along with the straw might deteriorate or stain faster.

We searched high and low for a toddler cup that would not leak and we found it! This cup can be tipped in every direction and doesn’t loose a drop, unless your tricky toddler finds a way to fling it when using the straw (mine occasionally does and yells out, “I did it”). I find the cup is easy to clean. The straw was tricky to clean, at first, but if you squeeze the top of the straw just right, it opens it up and you’re able to easily pass water through it. Combine that with a straw cleaner and you’re in business! I love that it measures ounces. It makes it easy to transition off of a bottle while still monitoring intake. It’s nice and big. My 15 month old carries it around easily with the handles. We love it!

The straw is extremely difficult to clean! I tried to disassemble it so I could wash it thoroughly, but it completely broke apart while I was doing so. It’s very frustrating, especially for something that needs to be cleaned regularly.

We have 6 of these cups. They were the first ones to actually not leak when our twins would throw or drop them. But after about two months they do start to drip. 2 out of the 6 can really make a puddle quickly. Would be awesome if they came with a replacement straw for a couple extra bucks. You can see there is a little rip in the rubber leak proof part right inside the straw. Still a good purchase because all the others leaked right away.

My 9 month son loves drinking from this. Easy to carry, doesn't leak and easy to clean as well. We can even close the sipper when not in use.
