Tan Optimizer Tanning Pills – Beta Carotene & Antioxidant Skin Health Supplement with Lycopene for Radiant Skin – 30 Capsules

Before ordering these vitamins I read mixed reviews here on Amazon. I tan both outdoors and in tanning salons pretty regularly so I was looking for something to help maintain my tan and give it a little more longevity. The price was great on these vitamins so I decided out couldn't hurt to try them. I went tanning at a salon three or four days after starting the vitamins. There was no difference in the quality of my tan, and I wasn't expecting any after only a couple of days. But as the week went on, I expected my tan to fade as it usually does, but it actually appeared to be deepening in color! I couldn't believe my eyes. But it is hard to judge your own color. I didn't believe it had made any difference until my husband and a friend commented on how nice my tan looked. Even the girl at the tanning salon commented on the quality of my tan. I don't care what the other reviews say, these vitamins work! Now, to be completely candid, I don't think they are going to give you a tan if you're fair-skinned and haven't been in the sun in a year. I think that's an unreasonable expectation. But if you tan regularly and are looking for something to improve the quality of your existing tan, these worked for me. For reference, I'm naturally a light olive-skinned color. I usually turn a golden brown as opposed to that deep almost purplish brown that tanning salon junkies always seem to achieve. The vitamins really helped me achieve a deeper golden brown that looks very natural. Now that's my experience with them. That's not to day they'll work the same for someone who is naturally fair skinned or dark skinned. But at this price point, they're absolutely worth a try!

So I don’t ever leave reviews, but I did base my order on reading other peoples reviews of this, it sounded like a beneficial supplement. I would be getting my vitamins and enhancing my tan. But I started taking it about 1-2 weeks ago, and been tanning everyday (even more now to see if I really can get tan) and I’ve been LOSING my ability to tan. I’m outside for 8+ hours a day and nothing. I even had to go a few shades lighter on my foundation. So as far “tanning” goes with this supplement, you don’t. The opposite in fact. As far as supplementation goes, it makes you nauseous ASF. I dry heaved every time I took it. So I would pass on this product if I were you, it’s cheap but not worth it.

It did not take much time in the sun to get color. It has also lasted. If you're looking for a quicker tan that lasts, this is a must. However if you have any sun sensitive issues it will amply this. It doesn't have any sun screen properties. Great tan really quickly.

It takes forever to see a difference in skin color, I thought I would be glowing b4 I left for our Mexican vacation, bit I was very disappointed.

This is poison. I am unsure whether the pill is contaminated or if it's contents are just bad, but it will make you VOMIT INSTANTLY and feel nauseated.

I think this really worked! It doesn't look look a typical tan.....not like I spent time in the sun. It's more like a healthy looking glow. It's hard to explain. I don't look like I tanned. It's more of a nice even healthy look. Not pale white but more over a healthy look.

Based on the studies that show color change, and me taking 2 a day for 14 days, I should have seen a skin hue or tint change. Nothing. These aren't quality or potent enough.
