The manufacturer/seller was excellent and responsive to resolve issues via Amazon and was prompt to respond to inquiries and sent out replacement parts in a quick manner. This is a reputable manufacturer who cares about after sale service and issues. The range is stainless steel,easy to clean. It looked like a professional grade product of high quality. Even though the LED lights failed prematurely, the manufacturer was contacted via Amazon ,sent replacement parts in a prompt manner. I hired an electrician to install it many months after I purchased it, as I was going through a whole house remodeling project, despite the extended periods of time after that, the manufacturer was still very easy to deal with the issues I faced much much later after the purchase and installation ,this is outstanding customer service and support. The fans seem strong, LEDs help illuminate the cooking and surrounding area adequately, although I wish they would be even brighter. Noise level are on the high side when fan speed is turned to high speed, but I haven't experienced a good and strong range hood that is strong and also quiet , I don't think they exist unless you're paying a Dyson like price. The speed control was touchless, just wave your hands to the light panel, left to increase speed, wave to the right to reduce speed . The stainless steel oil catcher filters is easy to put on and take off, and dishwasher-able. The appearance after installing gives an impression of professional look and quality. Unless you are a demanding professional chef, this will satisfy most home kitchen cooking. I have witnessed much higher priced range hood that didn't perform any more better. Recommended

We got this in April and and it almost Dec .I've used it everyday. Now i can give an honest opinion, pros and cons. *This was really easy to install. Our tile guy installed it for us. *As soon as you get it, open it and remove all packing and run it to see it work. Including the open and close shutter thing. * The noise level is normal . It has 2 powerful fans. What'd you expect? * ours is vented outside. The fans are really powerful , i usually run it at leval 2. Level 4 is too powerful and i feel it throws some smoke back in the house * Lights are good. *The motion sensor is AWESOME. It works perfectly fine. People said, it'll go bad . I said, so? Everything will break down eventually. *I am 5' 8" and i hardly ever turn it on by accident. ****Oh.. the hood will TURN ON automatically when it senses steam and vapors!!!! *it's super easy to clean. * I have gone a step further to increase it's life, by adding a light , grease trapping sheet. You can see how much oil it traps!. ( i bought it from girls famous online clothing store Sh!en. 12 for 2 dollars and magnets from Dstore.) * The spaces between Hood and cabinets did not get any oil or lint trapped in there. * Looks so good too.it was replaced by a micro/hood combo which didn't give me much space to work large pots.. now it's fun to cook. * the remote works too.. Sorry i have no real cons.. I did do my homework before buying this and it hasn't disappointed...YET..

I like almost everything about this hood. The light dimming is not a common feature, and was important to me, but it's a "press and hold" thing, so it goes from bright to dim, and if you hold it a nanosecond too long, it'll turn off, so you can never get it to the dimmest setting, pretty frustrating. I'd be happier if there was just 2 or 3 settings with each press. The case is extremely heavy duty and quality made. It arrived in perfect condition, but I bet even without the awesome packaging it couldn't get damaged! The top fan speeds definitely move a lot of air, which was the most important feature. The hand-wave control works very well once we figured out you need to swipe past _both_ sensors to register, and was impressively useful; no need to look up at the hood, find the right icon, then adjust the speed. The only real disappointment was that the lowest speed is still pretty loud. I don't need the low speed to move a lot of air, I need it to be quiet so we can leave it on to clear the air from the house after cooking, having just a little venting during baking, etc. I'm willing to have any amount of noise for the top settings in exchange for max airflow, but as it is, you kind of only have 4 noisy settings. Even our crappy cheap 2-speed hood was quieter on low. I wish someone made a hood with just a knob you turn for how fast or slow you want it, with slow being very slow and very quiet. Oh well. But anyway, it installed easily (it's _heavy_ so we moved the range out of the way; no way we could've leaned over and held that thing up), and the paper template provided worked great. There is only a 3 1/4 x 10 vent opening on the top, and the power cord exits from the top of the unit on the right side. I got a generic 3.25X10-to-6" round adapter and it worked great. Though our old hood had a 7" duct so the piping had to be adjusted. Light is a good color temperature and plenty bright. Filter panels are easy to remove. Not perfect, but at least we can sear our steaks without the smoke alarm going off now!

I am extremely happy with both the product and the customer service. The range hood has been working great and looks beautiful in my kitchen. Recently, I accidentally damaged one of the stainless steel baffle filter panels myself. It was completely my own mistake, so I contacted IKTCH customer support to ask if I could purchase a replacement. To my surprise, it was around 11:00 PM when I sent the email, and Jennie from the Customer Experience Team replied almost immediately. I was amazed by how quickly she responded. After confirming my purchase information, she kindly arranged to send me a replacement set of stainless steel filter panels completely free of charge, even though the damage was caused by me. This level of customer service truly exceeded my expectations. Jennie was professional, patient, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. It’s rare to find a company that cares so much about its customers. Thank you, Jennie and the IKTCH team, for your outstanding support. I will definitely continue to recommend IKTCH to my family and friends.

Works great, easy to clean, love the touchless features and support is great. Only thing I would love is that it was not so loud. 4.5 stars

I looked at dozens of vent hoods and spent hours making my selection. Top priorities for me were a) high volume air movement, b) bright, adjustable illumination, c) solid and durable construction, d) good price point. I saw this unit with 900 CFM and a price under $400 and I bit despite not having heard of iKTCH. The good news: A) The 4-speed motors do a pretty good job (not as good as I expected but OK). B) The build quality and finish on the unit was good. C) Cleanable baffle grill filters fit well and are convenient. The bad news: A) There are numerous errors in the manual and in the item description. B) This unit has a "gesture control" feature that lets you wave your hand to change fan settings. That's ok but I am tall and my head turns on the lights and fans just standing at the stove. THERE IS NO WAY TO TURN THE GESTURE CONTROL OFF! What a bummer. I have to put tape over the sensors to avoid turning the thing on and off every time I reach for something or get too close. C) The unit comes with a remote control that does not appear in the manual. Operating with the remote seems silly and unnecessary. D) The project description says that this unit can accommodate either a round 6" vent or a rectangular vertical vent. This is misleading. The only way to connect is using a rectangular 3.25 x 10" vent (although this can be connected then to a 6" round flexible duct). E) The manual says on page 2 that a damper is "not included" and not recommended due to noise. This is wrong. The unit I bought has a built in flip-up damper at the connection point. F) The manual is hilariously translated. If they asked me, I would fix it for them for free. The operation section on page 12 is super confusing and entirely unhelpful. The safety section says that the build up of greasy residue in the blower and filters may "cause increased inflammability". Um, no, the exact opposite. G) This thing has to be on speed 3 or 4 to really clear smoke and at that speed it is quite loud. For some dumb reason when I read the specifications and saw up to 900 CFM and 28-64 dB sound, I suppose I believed it. I can't measure either but even if this is rightl 64 dB IS pretty loud. I installed a 600 CFM blower in a previous home and it removed smoke better than this one. In summary, you get what you pay for. If you are looking for a 3-star vent hood that is very affordable that will do things ok, then this unit is fine. I had hoped this would be a real quality value play. It's not.

Looks great. However, as can be seen from the video, the hood simply does not effectively remove smoke. The video is of smoke from only 1 pan moderately smoking. I did not test at the highest speed but contend that the third highest speed should be more than enough to remove smoke from 1 pan. The pan was set back toward the wall which should have helped with evacuation. Beyond the poor smoke removal, which is the primary point of a hood, the speed would frequently change as my head moved so I finally put black tape over the sensors and used only the touch controls which worked well. I wish you could adjust the fan speed up or down rather than always having to go up (I.e. to move from speed 2 to 1 you must cycle up through 3, 4 and off then to speed 1). I did exchange e-mails with the company. We started with photos then moved to videos then when I provided the one attached they asked if I could try again on speed 4. If they were not surprised that the hood could not evacuate smoke from 1 pan on the third highest speed, that told me all I needed to know. $300 gone! Beautiful hood just doesn’t work well or at least is not working well for me.

The IKTCH exhaust rangehood has been a great addition to the kitchen. It is sleek in design and certainly lives up to the performance of the powerful blower fan. My Mom who loves to cook often and frequently can do so and the house no longer has odour from the cooking and stays fresh which helps specially in winter months when doors and windows stay closed. Truly a fantastic product for anyone considering a rangehood or exhaust. One thing to caution is the light bulbs started to flicker at the 1 year mark and I could not find it anywhere (no department store carried that bulb). Finally gave IKTCH a call and they were able to help as the product was under warranty and sent me the light bulbs along with a new motherboard free of charge. Great customer service. I do however worry that if the warranty runs out and lights start to flicker again I may not be able to get the replacement bulbs easily except to get from IKTCH at which point I may get charged international shipping fees.

This is a fabulous exhaust fan and exactly what I was looking for. The suction is very powerful, and it does an excellent job removing smoke and cooking odors. The build quality is solid, and the unit looks great once installed. I did have a small commercial issue regarding the price of the unit, so I reached out to customer support. Emma from IKTCH went above and beyond to ensure I was fully satisfied. She followed up with me consistently until the resolution I was hoping for was reached, and I truly appreciated the effort and professionalism she showed throughout the process. I also had a question regarding installation, and I received a helpful response within about 12 hours, which made the process much easier. Overall, this has been a great experience. AAA vendor, AAA customer support, and AAA product. Highly recommended.

Nice unit with powerful dual fans. Has completely solved the issue of my smoke detector activating every time I even glance at the stove, which was the case when my much less powerful old range hood unit was in place. As another reviewer mentioned, this hood comes with a 3-prong plug, so if you're replacing a unit that is hardwired, you may need to install an outlet. Additionally, as also mentioned, it's not quite 30" width, so plan for a small gap on either side. The unit controls are the Achilles heal, however. The gesture control feature is gimmiky and oversensitive. I have a cabinet above this range hood, and if I attempt to access that cabinet it in any way, I'll have the light and fan inadvertently turned on in no time. I solved this with a couple of well-placed pieces of electrical tape (which thankfully on the black control panel are almost invisible anyway). [It'd be useful if the manufacturer enabled a means to permanently disable the gesture control, if desired.] The dimming feature on the lights is fairly limited, meaning, the dimming range is small before the lights go out completely. Also, the fan has an 'on' 'button'. In essence, you must turn the fan 'on' by pressing the on-button before you can actually turn on the fan by selecting a speed. The 'on' button represents an unnecessary step. These are relatively minor inconveniences, but collectively detract from the unit's utility and ease of use and hence its score.

This range hood is perfect. I did have an issue with it, which can happen to anybody, but the customer support team was able to resolve my problem and sent me a new unit as a replacement ASAP.

It is not up to the mark. The performance might be adequate, but it has scratches, and the protective film on top was torn off. I am unable to return it as I would have to pay out of pocket.
