SHARPAL 208H Polishing Compound Fine Green Buffing Compound 2-Pack

I’m a knife enthusiast and hobbyist focused on sharpening and restoring blades, and I’ve been very impressed with the SHARPAL 208H polishing compound. The compound itself is high quality and produces a beautiful mirror finish when used with a buffing wheel or polishing setup. Once dialed in, the cutting and finishing performance is extremely consistent and gives professional-level results, especially on knife blades and metal restoration projects. One thing to note: the bar is fairly hard, so applying it directly to a cold buffing wheel can take a little effort. I’ve found that warming it slightly with a heat gun or hair dryer makes it much easier to transfer onto the wheel and significantly improves application. Once on the wheel, it performs exactly as you’d want. It also works exceptionally well on leather strops, loading cleanly and giving excellent edge refinement. The polish and edge clarity I’ve achieved with this compound have been outstanding. Overall, this is a serious polishing compound that delivers professional results at a great value. If you’re into knife sharpening, blade restoration, or fine metal finishing, this is an easy recommendation. Highly recommended.

I would say they have good quality, but I would not use them to strop any more, I prefer the powder version (not sold by this company) mixed with Weiman Leather Cleaner & Conditioner.

Small, very small but it's partially my fault for not taking notice of the 4oz writing. Works fine and I've used it on stropping leather for planes and chisels.

I just received my Sharpal green compound and I am 100% satisfied with the size and the quality of the product. This compound rubs well on my leather strop and definitely helps to give my knives a razor sharp blade guaranteed!!! This compound arrived in a nice box, bubble wrapped, and instructions in 8 languages. This block should last me about a full year.......well worth the money!

A sample came with my Sharpal stropping tool for knife sharpening. I used this on several knives, and it does a great job; I bought two more!

Great stuff!! a must have for any true good sharpener. Great stropping compound at a great price. Super easy to use. Just rub some on your strop and get to the stropping. OR you can add it to your strop and heat it up wit hair dryer to even coat the entire strop with an even layer or compound. I find that to produce the best results (for me). Highly recommended stuff. Razor sharp edges now!

Much better than the green compound I’ve been using. I’ve had a large bar of green compound for about 15 years. It had been hard since almost the beginning. I thought it might do well to try some fresh. I’ve had this for about two months and have sharpened many tools and knives and have been shocked at how effective it has been. Not only has it quickly dressed an edge but for an edge that had gotten to be in pretty bad with a little extra attention becomes almost as sharp as a razor with much less effort than I expected. Again, I have been shocked at just how good it is.

Really convenient polishing compound to have on hand. The bars are easy to work with and you get plenty of product for multiple projects. I like the compact size because they’re also easy to store with the rest of my tools and polishing supplies.

If you're having a midlife crisis and find yourself watching Paul Sellers videos on YouTube and then make yourself a strop to shapen your chisels, this is the green compound you're after to complete the picture. Works great 👍

Good quality, does the job!

En el vídeo parece ser muy fácil la aplicación en el cuero,pero no lo es tanto,hay que hacer un poco de fuerza y quedan algunas plastas y al pasar el cuchillo en estas algunas se desprenden por completo del cuero,esto se arregla lijando un posible cuero antes de aplicarlo o al aplicarlo del lado rugoso del cuero, sin embargo hace un excelente trabajo puliendo el filo,es super recomendable,es una excelente marca y está a un precio muy bajo 200 es baratísimo para lo que hace y lo que dura,lo volvería a comprar pero considero que durará años al no afilar diario ni muchos cuchillos de todo tipo y navajas.
