Any wire with C13/C14 ends (kettle connectors), are only limited to 10 amps, I would expect any fire to be rated for 13 amps or more. If you put more amps through than it is designed for it will heat up and catch fire.

Could i for e.g connect to a power conditioner using the iec end &then in the 3 pin socket section connect my 4 plug surge gang lead?would that be ok?

UPS and plug transformers
