Amazon Grocery, Italian Seasoning, 1 Oz

In this review, I address three areas that I consider of importance before you decide on this 'Italian Seasoning' from Amazon Grocery. Since I was born and raised on the French Mediterranean Coast, I consider my word on the matter to have value. 1.- The combination of herbs used in this product has been French since the days of the Renaissance. The Italians liked it, adopted it, and claim that the combination of herbs is theirs. Since Americans are sold Italy and everything Italian, Americans buy it. 2.- I received the 'Italian Seasoning' from Amazon Grocery and I was impressed. It smells and tastes just like the herbs my mother used in almost all her delicious meals. Amazon does not disclose where the herbs come from, but Amazon is not selling a trashy product; and considering the price, this 'Italian Seasoning' from Amazon Grocery is one of the best deals at Amazon. 3.- I now bring up Mother Nature. She is offering us another of her incredibly good creations loaded with nutrients for us ~and our pets~ to stay healthy. So many nutrients that the French people say... "Why should a man die when herbs grow in his garden?"

I bought several different Amazon spices. This one I tend to use the most has decent flavor. Good variety in the mix. Excellent on chicken. I've even added it to some soup bases that I make in the Crock-Pot. This one would be even better if it came in a bigger bottle. I guess you could just buy two.

This Italian seasoning has a delicious flavor and tastes just as good as the more expensive name brands I’ve purchased. I use Italian seasoning pretty frequently when cooking, and I really can’t tell a difference. Great pantry staple for a much better price.

Finally found an Italian herb blend with ONLY the herbs , no added oils flavor enhancers etc Flavor is excellent it’s a very nice blend , I will continue to use this in future over other brands

I've found Amazon's little seasonings to be a good choice on some items. I have at least 100 Plus bottles and bags of seasonings and some are pretty pricey. So, it helps that Amazon has a nice little assortment of low costs generic spices & seasonings. I've been trying some different ones and they aren't too bad. Take this Italian Seasoning, for instance. It's fine on its own, but I'll usually throw a couple more seasonings in with it. That makes it more costs effective and stretches out my more expensive seasonings. It's like salt and pepper. You pretty much know how much you're going to need. I always start out with a little less seasoning of any type, then I think I'll need. You can always add more, but it's a lot harder, if you've over seasoned something. i recommend this and you might want to try some of their other seasonings and mixes. They also have some tasty gluten free mixes. Just keep an eye out for the sodium. That sodium can really creep up on you in sauces and mixes. I was in the grocery store and picked up a frozen Asian TV Dinner. Yummy, that looks good. 360 calories. That might be a bit, but still not too bad. Then my eyes hit the SODIUM - 2260 mg of sodium. OMG!!! That's ONE meal. If you have some Soy or Tamari sauce on top, you'll probably be closer to 3,000 mg. OMG!!! Read those Nutrition Labels, before you get home. I couldn't believe anything had that much salt in. My sister laughs at me, because I buy those Vienna Sausages in a glass jar for toddlers. They taste great and they're low in sodium. The ones for adults are loaded down with SALT. So, why should the little brats get all the good stuff...lol That's the way it is kids. You're reaching for my banana and I'm buying your finger foods. It's a Dog Eat Dog World.

As advertised and shipped promptly. I don't ask for more. The low price was a bonus. Local grocery had been out for several weeks. Price was significant lower than the local grocery

Basic pantry item you should keep on hand, great value for the price, tastes great and easy to use.
