Desktop Tape Dispenser, 1 Dispenser | Great for Gift Wrapping, C19-CLIP-CCW

I have been wanting to get some type of heat tape dispenser for sublimation. And when I saw this-I had to buy it! It is decently priced, I took off the tape that was on it to use for something else, and I purchased Cricut heat resistant tape-which was an exact fit. I love that I can clip it on my craft desk, it spins all the way around making it easy to grab tape at any angle. All in all, it’s perfect for me and my crafting.

So the table that I use for a desk has edges so that, I can only connect something with a clamp from the bottom, vertically. And I already had something else in mind for this tape dispenser because I didn't think that I'd be able to use it on my table. Well, as it turns out, I was wrong about that. You see, in the tape dispenser's default position, if it's clamped onto something horizontally the tape dispenser is also already horizontal. However, when it's clipped onto something vertically, like from underneath an edge that's facing down? It's actually possible to adjust the tape dispenser part upward enough so that it's horizontal. Pretty neat if you ask me. As far as using this tape dispenser one handed, I'd say that sometimes it can be and sometimes it's difficult to do so. It basically depends on what it's hooked on, what direction it's hooked onto it, and/or what direction the user winds up pulling the tape from. It is possible though. My favorite thing about this tape dispenser is that there isn't any play once a roll of tape has been put onto it. The last dispenser I had was so that, when I'd put a roll of tape on it it could slide to the left and right with about a quarter of an inch of play. Not cool. And almost impossible to be able to get a straight edge of tape from. Not only do you not have to worry about that with this tape dispenser, but you also don't have to worry about a separate little piece that the tape roll has to go on before being put in the tape dispenser. The tape roll itself becomes it's own spool. Oh, and just one more thing. For anyone who's interested to know, this tape dispenser DOES come with a little bit of tape. And it's just a small amount of the scotch, "magic tape," as I believe it's called. The one that always comes in the green packaging.

Never thought I’d be impressed by a tape dispenser, but here I am very impressed with the versatility of this. I am a paper crafter and I need different types of tape at different times, so I’m definitely going to be ordering more. This is so versatile if you look at the video I posted it shows that with one hand you can flip it to pretty much any direction you need it. Very great thing to have in your craft bag seems extremely durable too. I mean after all it is made by Scotch brand. The video included with this listing was pretty much not helpful at all. I love all the additional features that I found after I received this item I didn’t really pay much attention to it. I just saw that it would clip onto my desktop, and I was very pleasantly surprised that it versatility And ease of use. Great gift for anybody who uses tape on a regular basis, whether for wrapping presents or making art or doing work from home or the office.

This is a convenient thing to have, especially when wrapping a lot of gifts! Works well!

I was hesitant that it would stay clamped to the edge of a table, but it works perfectly. The swivel adjustment of the tape heads keeps you from scratching your hand on the tape cut-off. Great product.

***Update after 3 years*** In my original review, I was a little concerned about the durability of this product, but I'm careful with it and it is still going strong. It remains the smartest Christmas-related purchase I've ever made. Original review: I LOATHE wrapping presents. It takes forever and is such a hassle. Every Christmas I wait til the last minute to wrap because it takes me hours and is so annoying. Not anymore. This year I ordered this little thing and let me tell you... This may actually really be the best thing since sliced bread. The biggest time waster for wrapping, to me, is cutting the paper and taping. Usually I'd get those little plastic rolls so I'd line the paper up, pick up the tape, try to hold the paper with one hand while I got a piece of tape, inevitably accidently move the paper, then twist the tape, somehow manage to get it off and get it half on the paper with part of it sticking to itself. And even if I managed not to screw it up, I was still constantly picking up the tape and putting it back down. And that is why you really want this thing. It clips to the table and you can easily get a piece one-handed. It speeds up the process for me so much that I was able to do the wrapping in less than half the time it usually takes me. I wish it were made of sturdier stuff. My spouse changed the tape roll when it ran out and almost broke it. It was kind of difficult to change, but manageable. Yet even if I had to buy a new one of these every Christmas, I would. It is that much of a time and hassle reducer. Pair this with a Helix paper cutter and you will be done with your wrapping and back to watching those cheesey Christmas movies before you know it! And you won't be in such a bad mood either (unless it's because of the bad Christmas movies...)! Just get it now. You'll be glad you did.

Great product. Wife had one, and "I" did loose it after wrapping my Christmas gifts I got her. So bought her a new set to have more. They make using tape easier. It is faster to use than normal tape. Even if you pull several small pieces out and non blow with wind and stick funny, you have to take time to pull those tapes pieces off. Here you grab and go as you go, which is about the same time used to grab one piece precut on the side. The cost is decent compared to just one.

Love this thing. I have a rolling cart at work, and I clip this to the edge so I have it with me all the time, but it doesn't take up any space on top of my cart. It stays in place perfectly and makes it easy to grab a piece of tape one handed if a box splits or a bag rips open unexpectedly.

Love that you can clamp it and rotate based on where you need it. Very handy!

A handy little dispenser that works exactly as expected. Clips on securely, feels well made, and makes one‑handed use really easy. Great for everyday tasks and very convenient overall.

This is my best find of the year! Made wrapping presents a dream.
