Great price, grit variety and work fantastic!
Work great on my grinder. Love the variety of grits available. Durable enough that it took only one 60 grit disc to remove several layers of oil based and latex porch paints from a porch that is likely original to our 135 year old home. I tried sanding this porch with my Makita orbital sander which was taking forever, then tried a belt sander which just shredded the belts...but these discs made very quick work of sanding this old porch down to bare wood. And you get ten discs for only a little more than the cost of one disc at the big box stores. Highly recommend these and in fact, my neighbor bought them too after seeing how good they worked on my porch.

A good value
A good price for what may be a lifetime supply for me. Have only used a couple of times but they appear to be well made and durable. Personally, I would prefer a better mix of grits as there are way more coarser grits than I think I will need.

You get what you pay for.
I have read some of the reviews on these flap disks and have to ask one question to most of those who buy this stuff and then give it a bad review. Do you read about what you are buying... before you buy it? The ad definitely tells you that the package has 10 of the 40 grit, 5 of the 60 grit, 3 of the 80 grit and 2 of the 120 grit flap disks. Those that complain they got... just that.... is baffling to me. Ok now for my other question about what I read on reviews of this product. But first I wanna say this. You pay less than a buck each for these disks with this package you get here. Ok.... let's move on now. They don't do a great job on removing a lot of material on hard wood.... I work with wood a lot.... I make clocks out of hard wood. They don't cut into the wood as well as more expensive disks do..... they are less than a buck each.... ooh yeah I think I mentioned that already. Case closed on that part. Now I gotta say for this pricetag... they ain't bad at all for doing what I want them to do. If you press too hard.... on hard wood... they burn.... yep. If you don't press very hard.... you don't get a whole lot of wood moving off the piece. Don't get these if that is what you need to do. Buy something better that will do that if that is what ya need to do. But, I like em for what I do.... I use them to fine tune the front and back of my pieces while making clocks from wood cut off a log.... called a cookie for those of you who never heard that term used for this style of wood coming from a log. About a 2 inch thick slice off a log. These disks will clean up the saw marks from the cutting with a chainsaw pretty darn quick. I am not gonna say you can take off more than a quarter inch of a ten inch round piece in a few minutes or anything of the sort.... it's called hardwood for a reason.... and to say it will cut like a hot knife through butter.... it won't do that. It will however make the piece nice and smooth if that is the look you are trying to achieve... and do that in a reasonable amount of time... say 15 minutes or so. I don't do that with every piece. I sometimes make clocks with something called the distressed look now and then. I just take a tiny bit off here and there to take away the sharp edges or stuff that sticks out too far.... only takes a minute or two to do that with one of these. Looks cool if ya ask me. But ya didn't... but I told ya anyways. But to say that these don't do as good as the way more expensive ones you can get out there and pay 4-6 times for each one is ridiculous imo. Again, ya didn't ask for it.... but there ya go. Heck of a deal for an old codger like me... and I appreciate a good deal when I can find one. That is what this is.

Great Sanding Discs
I was going to purchase a similar sanding disc at local store for $5 one pad. I seen this for like $24 for 20 pieces. Took chance. I’ve used on removing paint on truck bed. Works great. Recommend and save money.

High Quality & Great Assortment
Headline: Short, sweet, and high quality Review: I’ll make this short and sweet. These flap discs seem to be high quality, and I particularly like the metal ring for mounting to the angle grinder—it adds a nice layer of durability. The set comes with a good variety of grits and the package arrived well-packed and ready to go. Pros: High quality Metal ring for secure mounting Good assortment of various grits Arrived well-packed Cons: None so far Verdict: Highly recommend.

Aggressive tool for stripping paint off of steel railings
I ordered these 2 years ago and was waiting to find a use for them. Well, I finally did. I volunteered my time to strip the paint off the wrought iron railings at our congregation meeting hall. These are 30 year old railings with many coats of paint on them. I, along with my helper ( a professional house painter) started in on the railings. First, we tried scraping the loose paint off the top railings. That got some off. But when we tried scraping the vertical balusters, nothing happened. We then went to sanding discs, nothing. I then put a 40 grit flapper disc on my hand grinder and the paint started to disappear right down to bare steel. Even the twisted balusters were no match for this flapper disc. You have to be careful that you don't apply too much pressure as this disc was actually was removing some of the steel. Also wear a full face shield to prevent anything flying off into your face. The first 7 foot railing used up 1 40 grit and 2 60 grit flapper discs. I don't honestly know how we would have removed the old paint without these discs. Really, a great product and I would recommend them.
